American Dragon added to next 4 IWA-MS shows

Recommended Posts

This is pretty awesome news: :)

===================================

IWA Mid-South Wrestling management is proud to announce that "American Dragon" BRYAN DANIELSON has been added to all four Ted Petty Invitational week events: Wednesday, 9/15 in Evansville, IN, Thursday, 9/16 in New Albany, IN, and the tournament itself on Friday & Saturday, 9/17 & 9/18 in Highland, IN.

Upon learning that he would not be in the midst of a New Japan Pro Wrestling tour during TPI week, Danielson was immediately added to the mix. IWA-MS recognizes Daneilson as one of the very best performers in the world today, and due to his availability, he has been added to the field of 24 for the 2004 TPI tournament in Highland. Danielson will slide into the spot previously occupied by NWA Wildside's RAY GORDY, which means Dragon will face ALEX SHELLEY in the first round. We look forward to Gordy's return to IWA competition in the near future.

The Wednesday, 9/15 event in Evansville will feature Danielson taking on CHRIS HERO in a rematch of their 8/21 Highland bout, but this time it will be the best two out of three falls!

The Thursday, 9/16 event in New Albany will feature Danielson taking on "The Phenomenal" AJ STYLES.

Also added to the 9/15 Evansville card is a Women's Division Four-Way of DAIZEE HAZE vs. TRACY BROOKS vs. MsCHIF vs. MICKIE KNUCKLES.

Keep your eyes peeled to www.iwamidsouthwrestling.com for further TPI week card information. Be sure to join us live!

Fans interested in participating in the 9/18 AJ Styles Training Seminar who have not yet contacted Patti at [email protected] to reserve your place, act quickly, as the camp is almost full. It will be limited to 25 people. The three hour seminar will last from 11am to 2pm at the Lincoln Center in Highland. Cost is $75, and is due in full on Friday night, 9/17.

Call the IWA hotlines at 502-569-1701 in Louisville and 630-585-3958 in Chicago.

Let me just add that now 9/15 has Petey Williams vs. CM Punk for the title, Matt Sydal vs. AJ Styles, Chris Hero vs. American Dragon 2/3 falls, and a tables match with Necro Butcher and Madman Pondo, with plenty more to be announced.

Not bad at all. :)

The rumor that I had heard through the grapevine has been confirmed, and TPI has just been made a hell of a lot better. Ray Gordy isn't anything to sneeze at, certainly, but Dragon is...well, he's Dragon.

YES! Now I have two Dragon and Shelley matches to look foward, too. The Styles vs Danielson match is becoming a yearly thing! This one should be better than the last. Dragon in more indies, is always good.

As if the TPI quadruple-shot weekend couldn't get any better, they go and add Bryan F'n Danielson to the thing. Danielson vs Styles, Danielson vs Shelley, Danielson vs Hero 2/3 Falls and whatever other match(es) he'll have on TPI night two, it really just doesn't get much better than that. Damn my living in crappy fantastic-wrestling devoid Australia, the second all these shows are available they'll be mine. If IWA:MS wasn't already my favourite wrestling fed they would be now.

If all goes as planned, there is a chance I may be going to all 4 IWA shows plus an indy show in suburban Detroit on the following Sunday?

Is the whole idea of 5 straight nights of wrestling shows a bad idea for me? Could I get wrestling burnout?

And somebody check to see if RAW is in metro Detroit that Monday ....

We are happy to inform the fans that Smart Mark Video will indeed be in to shoot all four events!

Additionally on 9/18 from 11am to 2pm at the Lincoln Center will be a training seminar with former NWA World Heavyweight Champion "The Phenomenal" AJ STYLES! If you've ever wanted to get in the ring yourself and get a taste of what it's like to be a professional wrestler, this is your "fantasy camp" opportunity to learn about what it takes to physically perform in the ring from one of the very best in the business today. The seminar is open to fans with no pro wrestling experience, as well as those who may have some training under their belt already who would like to learn hands-on from AJ. The three hour seminar is limited to 25 people, and is available on a first come, first served basis. Cost is $75, and must be paid in full on Friday, 9/17. Only a few spots still remain. If you are interested in participating, please E-mail Patti at [email protected] to reserve your spot.

As soon as the training seminar concludes at 2pm, we will conduct a fan Q&A session for the remainder of the afternoon, with many of the wrestlers appearing during the weekend's events. Admission to the Q&A is free of charge to all fans, but seating will be limited. The Q&A, as always, will be filmed by Smart Mark Video for a future VHS release.

IWA-MS is doing its best to give our fans an unforgettable week... and make your travels to see the TPI as worthwhile as possible. Don't miss your opportunity to be a part of TPI week live and in person.
