The Lost Seinfeld Episode

Recommended Posts

Anyone else remember back when Seinfeld was actively airing, and they had a "Lost" show, that was out of context with current storylines (IE Something like Geogre is unemployed, not with the Yankees). They had Jerry intro the show, but the intro is never shown in syndication.

Oh well, anyone who remembers this, feel free to share some info

?????????????????

Unless you mean NBC aired one of "The Seinfeld Chronicles" shows (first handfull of shows as Seinfeld started as a summer "tryout") during the height of the show's popularity, because ever episode produced aired.

Probably cut up in syndication which is why you don't see Jerry's stand up that introed even the act break!

Do you mean the Peurto Rican Day episode? I remember there was some controversy over that becaused they showed the Peurto Rican flag burning.

Was that the one where they were stuck in traffic, someone kept "lazering" George in the face, and all three faked renting an apartment so they could take a piss?

Or was that the other one?

I know the Puerto Rican episode was banned from syndication for a long time, but I believe the ban was lifted not too long ago. I've seen it several times, so I guess some areas choose to keep it banned.

Tis a shame because it's a really good episode and is accidental flag burning really that offensive. Surely the puerto rican's aren't that uptight.

Wasn't puerto Rico about them under the bleachers ior some such?

Both those things happened in it. They're all stuck in traffic, Elaine decides to walk and tries to get through a stadium and gets caught under the bleachers. George goes to the cinema to try out a joke he thought of, but someone with a laser pen takes the spotlight away from his joke. So George asks him not to use the pen at one point in the film, but the guy instead harrases him with it all day. Kramer needs to take a piss and pretends to be interested in renting an apartment, but when he goes up there he notices the baseball game is on so he watches that. Seinfeld and George do the same thing. And then Kramer burns the Puerto Rican flag with his cigar (i think) at some point.

I saw the episode like the other day.

What alias' did they use when "renting the apartment"? I could swear Kramer and Jerry had funny names that sound horribly fake, but don't remember Georges'.

Kramer reprised his "Pennypacker" from the Cinco Mayo's episode. I don't recall Jerry's, but I would assume George would go with his old standby of Art Vandelay...

I do remember seeing this several weeks ago on TBS, but as it shows, I cannot recall the names used.

Pennypacker is the greatest character in television history.

Here, Here. I still love the episode where Elaine wants to screw Cinco de Mayo...or Punta Mayo (or whatever) by having Kramer, alias Mr. Pennypacker, change the prices to everything of 99 cents.
