Ann Coulter shares her thoughts about the election

Recommended Posts

God, she gets on my nerves to no end...

I have to admit however...If I had the chance, I'd probably tap that ass.

Hey, no talking about tapping asses when you have Heimlich-reich in your signature, k?

But back to Ivins: I'm reading Bushwhacked right now, and the overuse of sob stories is, quite literally, pathetic. She makes Michael Moore look disinterested at times. Go to the archives all ya want, Molly, but when you're writing about people with descriptions like "she had a pretty smile and a shiny pair of eyes, though her body was worn down by the draconian policies of the Bush administration," it's hard to take your "facts" seriously, y'know?

Hell, I'm loving Coulter simply because she is so able to utterly piss all of you off to the point of desiring her murder.

I don't think anyone in this thread wishes for Ann Coulter's death. Ann, on the other hand, has no problem wishing death on people she disagrees with.

This thread needs the 'Bush in GI Joe costume' pic...

I was actually looking for the Kerry as Rambo pic.

...But Bunny Kerry in a tank was just as good.

For some reason I was thinking about the difference between Molly Ivins and Ann Coulter last night, and I decided that while Ivins comes to some pretty over-generalized conclusions based on limited amounts of evidence, its completely nullified by the fact that Coulter's insane.

Replace the word "liberal" with "Jew" in everything Coulter writes and you'll quickly see how the woman's on a pretty dangerous path. The only thing missing is some psuedo-scientific explanation of how liberals are genetically inferior.

The main difference between Molly and Ann is that Ann actually can write something people will intentionally read. Molly Ivins' columns can actually be classified as war crimes.

Replace the word Bush with "n*****" and Ivins is one racist bitch.

...Changing words for no reason is fun...

I wasn't arguing that Coulter was a racist, I am arguing that Coulter likes to irrationally blame every problem in America on the liberals and call them evil traitors (similar to the way Jews have had the same thing happen).

Your analogy falls apart because Bush is a single person, whereas "n*****", as you put it so eloquently, are a group.

Y2J, I've learned that Mike is more bluster than anything.

Also Mike, please explain how Ivins' columns can be (mis)construed as war crimes. I fail to see how her writing a column could be considered that level of a crime. Freedom of the Press is guaranteed and protected by the Bill of Rights, unless the Patriot Act has rescinded that freedom, too.

Her columns and books are unmitigated shit and painful to read. Forcing somebody to read them likely violates the Geneva Conventions.

There are a whole lot of people who could say the same thing about Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and more right-wing nutcases than I can probably name.

Let's try not to faux pas next time, eh Mike?

I just did.

Also, I think you might enjoy seeing what other people think of Ann Coulter:

Various posters at the CMGSCCC.com message board

ann coulter can eat hippo shit and die. just a side note the re-election of bush is the fourth horseman of the apocalypse.

Man.. Anyone can get published these days.

*Resumes writing cultist handbook*

-ClockworkSin, not surprised by passionate stupidity.

That, my friends, is the personification of a "dumb blonde" :P. She sure is good at spewing bullshit... why, oh why, did Amazon even associate with her -_-.

I personally don't care whether Kerry will "do a better job" than Bush or not... I just want Bushie, who's a proven fuckup, out of office.

Neo

What I don't get about people like her is that Clinton was the worst president ever and should have been impeached because he may have lied in a civil case unrelated to the office of the President on a matter whose only connection to the White House is that it's where the event took place,* but it's perfectly fine for Bush to mislead the country, make Iraq out to be this huge threat on faulty information, and throw aside world opinion so he can have a war apparently because he never lied under oath.

*If Bill Clinton was some CEO of a company and Monica Lewinsky was some secretary there, we would never have heard about the latest in cigar humidor technology. The entire basis of the perjury claim is Paula Jones' lawyers asked Bill Clinton if he was having sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky. He said no. In later testimony, his explained his answer in such a way that he was basically saying, "Monica isn't on her knees under this desk as we speak." Technically, that was a true statement and the lawyers took it at face value. They should have continued the line of questioning: "What about in the last three month? six months? twelve months?" Eventually they should have gotten him. It was not the position of the Republicans in Congress to do that themselves through an impeachment proceeding.

Considering her comments about women at the DNC and also that good ole post-9/11 quote:

"I think we should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity"

I think Ann Coulter went off the deep end a LOOOOOOONG time ago.

Of course, it is debateable whether she's lying and just says that stuff b/c sensationalism sells, or if someone can really be that ass-rippingly idiotic.

Personally, I think it's the former, but I have my doubts.

Also, who's stupider, Ann Coulter, or the people who think that she actually makes intelligent and well-thought out points in her books? Because I've met people who actually think she's a great mind and quote her in arguments concerning politics.

Did she really say that shit? And exactly how are we supposed to assure moderate Muslims the "War on Terrah" is not a religious crusade?

lmao

She looks oddly like Kerry to me. Irony, eh?

...and, my personal favorite:

Enjoy.

Sad thing is, there actually WERE Communists in the gov't. KGB files showed that.

He was a drunken prick --- but he was right in his theory.

He just lacked actual proof.

Oh bull fuckin' shit. That doesn't even MATTER compared the number of lives that man destroyed.
