Guest Loss Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 At this point, I think the better plan would be Angle dropping the title to Cena in the main event at Wrestlemania. Getting the belt on Angle when it's now on JBL might be a problem though.
Lord of The Curry Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 WWE usually doesn't pull off heel title changes @ Mania so I can't see Angle beating Taker for the belt. Taker beating Angle is another story.
humongous2002 Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 How the mighty has fallen, Kurt is either kayfabing or he is getting too big for his bridges maybe he needs to be reminded about Milk-o-mania or Jimmy crack corn, no wonder the fans still think of him as the dorkiest champion ever.
redbaron29 Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 The fact he would say something like that about Booker T, just goes to show how full of himself Angle has become. I mean that statement is not something someone following Kayfabe would say. Loss is right...Angle is on the verge of becoming Hogan.
Promoter Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 I don't know if he is kayfabing in this interview, but I don't really remember him being kayfabe friendly when doing these type of interviews. He usually grates me how much he exposes stuff in his interviews. I suppose he has learned to go in and out of kayfabe like a seasoned pro now. In his earlier years he came off really dorky and star struck of wwe.
Guest Coffey Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 He also got a very good match out of Shane McMahon at KOTR 2001 How's that? The match is remembered because of it's repeated blown spots. It's not like the glass WASN'T supposed to break.... I think Angle is good...but he's not the top wrestling in the company. Hell, I honestly believe that unused talents, such as Al Snow, are JUST as good as Angle (in the ring), they just don't get the chance. Of course, I think Angle is better than Jericho, so a lot of people would find my ideals lopsided. I'd say, without question, that Guerrero & Benoit are better WRESTLERS...but as far as a complete package goes, I'd say Triple H is the only one (other than Guerrero) that comes close to Angle. A lot of people here won't want to hear that, but it's true.
KTID Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 I've no problem saying that HHH is one of the best wrestlers in the company. He's about on a par with Michaels and Angle. None of them, however, are even close to Benoit or Eddie.
Lil' Bitch Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 What's the fucking issue here? Their match on SD kicked 134 different types of ass. You also have to remember that's when Undertaker was still the biker. Now that he's the Phenom again, he's going to be no selling Kurt left and right.

Lil' Bitch Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 I remember him doing so which is what made the TV match so good, plus Angle is the only guy to ever make the Undertaker tap out.
