Now I just went on to WWE.com and I see their advertisement for Wrestlemania Ticket Pre-sale for this Friday and you need a codeword. Well on the advertisement, the code word is KAYFABE. What the hell is going on here?

you've answered your own question.

Franchise, thanks for giving the Literal answer to the question, but I would kind of like an answer that was past the 1st grade level of thinking.

Contextually, the question posed would be why would the WWE use KAYFABE rather than any other word to describe Wrestlemania or something to describe the location this year (which would happen to be Los Angeles) or even a wrestler or a wrestling maneuver? Why the word KAYFABE?

:(

Well, how many people who visit wwe.com would know what kayfabe was anyway?

It was probably so people didn't guess the pre-sale password (ie things like RAW or TORONTO) - I mean, who'd guess kayfabe?

So if we were to assume that your "who'd guess kayfabe?" theory is correct, then why would the WWE being GIVING OUT the password for FREE on their offical website? They don't have to guess anything. So again, why kayfabe? Or in fact, why have a password at all?

And I would also like to know why you quoted me in your second reply to this thread? You never replied to the quote. It has no relativity to what you said in your post. When you quote somebody, make sure you say something about it, or you just look like a complete moron.

I was looking around ebay, and people are selling the password online. The funny thing is people actually are buying it.

Even better than buying an ass whooping.....

I sat at this computer for 20 minutes hitting refresh trying to get tickets, stupid Pacific and Eastern time, arggggg. I hope getting tickets this year isn't as hard as last years was. Word

Looks like another blowout.

This is the third year (in a row) I've succeeded at getting WM tickets, and I'm pretty suprised at the prices this year. Maybe I was spoiled by the mass seating at WM 19, but I was suprised to find out that lower bowl meant paying $100-$200 figures.

It's not that bad. The seats I bought were off on the far side of that section. They should actually be decent for that price. I just hope the have re-sale value.

Damn you people!!! This is what I get for getting tickets for five people. Within seconds they had nothing. Oh well, better luck tomorrow I suppose.

I wound up getting 6 tickets by luck. Not all together b/c that would have been impossible but 3 pairs. I think this year was worse than last year in term's of getting tickets. I didn't get through till after 12:10 eastern time and after that they just kept popping up. I already checked ebay and the prices are ridiculous!

I think that is what I am going to do tomorrow, buy sets of 2 and hopefully get enough tickets for 5 people. Shit, as long as I get to go who cares about them. This will be my fifth Wrestlemania in a row, and I live in Baltimore, MD. Greyhound to Houston and Toronto, Flew to Seattle, and drove to NY. I better get tickets, because there is no way in hell I am paying Ebay prices. I didn't get tickets on the presale last year so I am not sweating it too much. Thanks ya'll, you lucky ticket having bastards.

I have 214. 218 with a half-hour left was active and up to face value, so I should be able to make a profit.

You're going to cross country for this show?

With the product in it's current state, I weep for you. :)

Well actually I'm making this one of my vacations for next year as I did with Seattle and Toronto. I always need an excuse to go away :)
