Typical. Welcome to my world. Zack’ll mesmerize you and hypnotize and tell you all these wonderful things about himself and pay you all these pretty flowery compliments. And he’ll send you these sugary sweet PMs in the middle of the day and he’ll make you feel eternally special. Like your’s is a light that will shine forever. He’ll compare you to a diamond ring, to precious to wear in public for fear of arousing jealousy and anger in those who are not worthy to posses it.

 

And that’s when it stops. That’s when he stops Pming you. He asks for your phone number and you eagerly give it to him, because you’re looking for any type of security to latch onto. But he never calls you. And days go by. And those days turn to weeks. And those weeks turn to months. And your heart turns to ice. You completely shut out everything and everyone around you. Your world is a black abyss from which escape is not only impossible but in which the word has no meaning. Your hands start to shake non stop, you lose weight. Your friends tell you that your far too thin, that you need to move on. But what do they know? They don’t know Zack like you do. How could they? They never talked with him until three AM in the morning. Never shared childhood memories. Never cried with him over unrequited loves, lost hopes and dreams. But you did. So you stop returning their calls. And you pray. You pray to whatever god you can think of that Zack’ll PM you, that he’ll acknowledge an existence that you don’t even want a part of anymore. But he never does. He never does and you're left to sweep up the broken pieces of your heart without a broom to call your own.
