Ace309 Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 The Jay Dawg Improvement Award - For Most Improved Wrestler The Axis Memorial Trophy - For Most Under-appreciated Wrestler The Stubby P. McWeed Trophy - For Booker of the Year If you PM me a nomination, I'll stand on your testicles, count along with the referee and then deny it all.
Toxxic Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Most Improved - my money would be on either Landon or Spike Most Underappreciated - Dace. I know he is recognised as a good writer, but I'm still amazed that with his depth of knowledge he never got the World Title. No matter how good you are, Dace is ALWAYS a competitor. Best Booker - ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTION IT HAS TO BE ZED
janusd Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Most Improved - First person to come to mind is none other than perennial chat kickboy Spike Jenkins. Love you, man. Most Underappreciated - Me, if only for the reason that whenever I seemed to win it big, it was usually over a dominating person (or persons) and their response was always "My match was better!" Best Booker - Zed, hands down.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Most Improved - Me. Nomination: IL/Petey/Danga, Landon, Todd Cortez, Andrea. Most Underappreciated - Me. Nomination: Landon, Johnny Dangerous, Danny Williams, Dace Night, Andrea. Best Booker - Thoth Nomination: Mike Van Siclen, TNT, TBS made one, right?
frisco Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 I think Thoth was a good booker. I'd give me my vote. For most underappreciated I'd have to say Drea because she is very active on the boards and does a hell of a lot of topics I read on a weekly basis. I really wasn't here long enough to offer a "most improved" suggestion.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Why are you still here anyway?
5_moves_of_doom Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 Is a best booker nomination really necessary this year? I mean, I know some other people *technically* booked, but not voting for Z would be a fool's move, here.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 Johnny for most improved and most underappreciated. Quite frankly, in fact, the lack of love for my tag team partner makes me a sad panda... I mean, come on now, honestly: who in the fed, besides myself, ever thought that Johnny was World Title material? Hell, for the first half of the year, most guys here still thought of him as "Dub Cee's partner." Best Booker? I'm partial to Zed, but I'd go with anybody but Thoth!
Golgo 13 Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 The Jay Dawg Improvement Award - For Most Improved Wrestler - Johnny. Spike. Maddix. The Axis Memorial Trophy - For Most Under-appreciated Wrestler - Dace. Johnny. Williams. Drea. For some reason Maddix comes to mind here, though I don't know of other opinions on this. The Stubby P. McWeed Trophy - For Booker of the Year - Zed, Thoth, TNT, etc., etc. And when did King and/or Stevens stop booking exactly?
Ace309 Posted October 7, 2004 Author Report Posted October 7, 2004 Johnny for most improved and most underappreciated. Quite frankly, in fact, the lack of love for my tag team part I'd be quite surprised not to see him on the ballot. *cough*
King Cucaracha Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 I agree with Manson. I AM unappreciated. You can put Manson down on most improved too I'd say. And, uhm...Alan Clark should be on most under-appreciated.
