geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2004 I will follow stern wherever he goes, I need my morning fix of Stern to get me through the day. Hopefully he brings Artie, Fred, Robin, Gary, Benji, KC, Ronnie and Sal with him. Also, the new high pitch Eric recording is great, whose high pitch this is Kelly Clarkeson. sfaJack 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2004 Walton & Johnson own Stern's ass, but I don't think anyone outside of the Gulf South can hear them.
Guest cpac Report post Posted October 7, 2004 I bet you Walter and Johnson are nothing more than Howard Sterns bitch who are stealing his act from 20 years ago. If it weren't for Stern these two wouldn't have a job on a radio station doing a shock jock show.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2004 Well, Stern's Imus' bitch then.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 8, 2004 I used to love his show before it became all about bitching about Bush and the FCC. I turn it on maybe a few times a month and he's ALWAYS complaining about it. Even when I did really liked his show I don't know I would've paid for it. Though I would consider it for O&A since their seems to be a lot more upside to their show and the hosts aren't old enough to be my parents.

UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2004 I think Howard's show will be like it was in the old days, he won't need to bash Bush all time anymore, no censors, just good old comedy. However, if Artie doesn't go with them, there's no way I'm ever listening again. I can live without Robin though.
geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2004 Good Stern show today. I really like how they are putting the sound bites to better use. Also, everyone ripping on Ronnie, and his way too big car, had me laughing all the way home from my morning workout. What would mornings be without Stern? Think again. “Music is so much a part of what I do. I’m about rock’n’roll,” Stern tells Billboard Radio Monitor. “With what’s going on in this country and the war in Iraq, music is more important than ever. I think there is going to be a rebirth of protest music. [My stations] will also represent music and lifestyle. I’m going to mix it up.” ... “I was going to get out of radio,” Stern says. “I was going to get back into books and movies, reinvent myself. Then I realized that it wasn’t that I hated radio: It was the situation. This is a whole new future. It was time for me to say, ‘I am abandoning the old way of doing things.’ ” -=Mike
bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2004 his show was getting boring before all the FCC/Bush stuff. Having a new enemy monster heel to rant against invigorated his show, and I'd daresay its more entertaining than ever. However, I probably wont get satellite radio. I despise monthly fees. As far as entertainment-related stuff goes, I'm only willing to pay monthly for Internet, and Cable. nothing else.

I know he'll still talk about Bush from time to time, but it's not going to be a constant everyday thing like it has been recently. The thing about that quote is that Sirius is giving him 3 stations, so the music and his show probably won't be on the same station.
geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 The entire Bush thing could be over in a few weeks anyway. However, he will still bitch about the FCC and that bastard dead air dave.
