snuffbox Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 I dont think anyone's gonna buy the Howard Dean lines from Bush/Cheney...
Guest GreatOne Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Uh oh........... Wonder if Kerry's gonna give 'Well I did but I didn't' response................
snuffbox Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Bush certainly looks more comfortable so far...
Downhome Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Bush is doing fantastic so far, much better than last time.
Justice Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 I dont think anyone's gonna buy the Howard Dean lines from Bush/Cheney... Eh, I think it's a good one. It does almost completely coincide with the real shift in the candidates from Pro war to Anti war. Bush doing a good job about the WMDs. And he's done with the grin at least. Good smirk.
Guest GreatOne Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 The president, wishes I changed my mind. In that case we're all wishing....................
teke184 Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 He seemed to be stumbling a bit on the first question, although he still did better than in the first debate. As for the second question, about the WMD, he knocked it out of the park.
Guest GreatOne Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Hey John, you remember that petition to use military action in Iraq that you signed and passed on to Clinton in 99?
Justice Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 ...? Iran is more dangerous behind Osama Bin Laden? HUH?
AndrewTS Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Global test time... But Bush is going to dodge No Child Left Behind.
snuffbox Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 I dont think anyone's gonna buy the Howard Dean lines from Bush/Cheney... Eh, I think it's a good one. It does almost completely coincide with the real shift in the candidates from Pro war to Anti war. Bush doing a good job about the WMDs. And he's done with the grin at least. Good smirk. Im not saying I disagree with the statement, Powerplay...I agree that Kerry clearly picked up his anti-war rhetoric after Dean became popular... But I dont feel that the public cares.
Guest MikeSC Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Bush is doing CONSIDERABLY better this time. Him laughing at Kerry was gold. -=Mike
teke184 Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Different plan, John? What's so different about your plan besides you being in the White House?
Guest GreatOne Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Damn, Bush sounds like he actually HASN'T got anything better to do............. I wonder if Kerry'll repeat the 'this war will be justifiable based on the outcome' nugget.
snuffbox Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 If nothing else tonight, Kerry seems to be totally killing the 'robot' opinions...he appears very human/likable in these debates.
Justice Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 He's going back to his 'allies'. Great...
Guest MikeSC Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Um, isn't Kerry's plan --- and this is a quote --- "I don't know what I'll see on 1/20". And quoting King Abdullah's concern about elections seems a bit much. And I think he's leaving Bush WIDE OPEN to bitch-slap him about the UN bribery scandal. -=Mike
Guest GreatOne Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 My god. Richard Lugar? I think more people take LEX Luger seriously Chuck Hagel? Bob Kerrey ruined Nebraska for everybody.........................
Downhome Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 I'm John Kerry, and I have a plan! I'll do what Bush is doing, only BETTER! I'll do what Bush is doing, only FASTER! I have a plan!!!
Guest MikeSC Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Um, how do you train people "faster"? And discussing Allawi's comments is genius by Bush. Bush killing him on his identical plan --- but no mention of UN bribery. -=Mike
Justice Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 If nothing else tonight, Kerry seems to be totally killing the 'robot' opinions...he appears very human/likable in these debates. Agreed. He is coming off more human, but I don't think he's doing as good as Bush yet. We'll have to watch. This looking much better than the last debate all around.
snuffbox Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Bush doing vastly better with this debate...pretty even so far...Im liking this.
Downhome Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 That was great. "Yes John Kerry has a plan, and it's called the Bush plan!"
Guest GreatOne Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 John Kerry: If elected president, I'll have a summit!!!!!!!
GreatWhiteNope Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Bin Laden's regime has been rendered useless. Kerry wants his head. Geesh.
teke184 Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Kerry is trying to cloud the issue by bringing up Tora Bora again...
Guest GreatOne Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Oh god, Kerry with his new 'Vietnam' reference I HAVE BEEN CONSISTENT!!!!!!!!!!
