AFC South and NFC East look to be the toughest. New England is just dismantling the normally tough AFC East now, and the Dolphins have become everyone's whipping boy.

So what's the toughest?

I went AFC South. At this point, to me it goes

Indy = Philly

Jacksonville = New York

Tennessee > Dallas

Houston >>> Washington

The tops of each division are even, but the bottom halves are a clear edge to the AFC South.

Try Indy < Philly

Jacksonville<New York

I maintain that the NFC North, while no team is a standout killer, they all tend to kick the crap out of one another, leading to a bad playoff situation. That makes it tough to play in, I'd imagine, but it's definitely not the best division.

Agent's right. They don't call it the black and blue division for nothing.

Witness the Packer-Viking history. Even though they've played two games a year against each other for all of Minnesota's existence, the overall series has managed to still remain tied.

I voted NFC West, because with two teams rebuilding, the wacky Mike Martz coaching another, and Seattle - actually, they haven't been bad so far - would YOU want to play for one of those teams? You're on a shitty team in a shitty division. THAT'S gotta be tough.

I wouldn't say they're dismantling the division. I mean they technically aren't even in first place.

Hey at least we played, and beat, the Colts.

The Jest have played NOTHING yet.

...and then they get San Fran before the royal ass-whooping.

:)

Chargers > Arizona

Buffalo = Buffalo

Miami = Miami

Indianapolis > Cincy

It's a near same strength of schedule. Just remember though, the last time the Pats lost in Foxboro was to a healthy Pennington. I know last year he was healthy (when the Jets lost in Giant Stadium, although it was a close game) last year, but I like my chances.

To defend Cartman, our first four games were a sinch (with the exception of Indianpolis). But look at our next 4:

Seattle

NY Jets

at Pittsburgh

at St. Louis

That's not an easy schedule any way you look at it.

I'm not sold on the Jets or the Steelers as being threats to the Pats just yet. Call me crazy.

I think this coaching staff can do some cute things to mess with Big ben, and until the Jets actually beat a real team I won't be impressed.

The Chargers are terrible. Stack up on LT and the game is over.

You say that as if teams have not tried that. The Chargers have scored 72 points in the last two games. It was the improved play of Drew Brees and the emergence of TE Antonio Gates, that were the reason for San Diego's success. LT didn't even play in the second half against the Jags. Also take note that Jacksonville's defense had not allowed a RB to gain 100 yard rushing against them in 17 games. The Chargers Running back gained 103 against them, but it wasn't LaDanian Tomlinson, it was his back up Jesse Chatman.
