Guest CronoT Report post Posted October 19, 2004 Blade Trinity Trailer Does anyone else think he will suck as bad as Goldberg did in Universal Soldier: The Return? (Sorry if this is a re-topic, but the link was on the wwe.com homepage.) [EDIT]-Damn it.... The trailer at wwe.com has a lot more clips of Triple H, so click here to go to the site. It's under "Featured Photo and Video."

NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2004 I saw the newer trailer with him, and he came off basically looking like the "main henchman" type role, where he is going to do a lot of vampire hissing and tossing around of extras, but not much speaking. So basically, the role will fit him well for what it is worth.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 19, 2004 Apprently he was very impressive according to the Director and Producers of the film and was given a even more enhanced role.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2004 they'll never be able to top Donal Logue as Blade Movie Evil Henchmen, so it doesn't matter to me who is in this role...the fact that Jessica Biel is in here as an action star is making give this one the big PASS... Si82 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2004 Does anyone else think he will suck as bad as Goldberg did in Universal Soldier: The Return? I thought Goldberg was quite good in Universal Soldier. Sure, he hammed it up but he looked like he was enjoying himself and played the role fairly well. He was the best thing in that film. As for Triple H. I'll reserve judgement until I see the film. Guest Korgath Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I actually think the role will be pretty good for Trips. Blade is a much bigger franchise than Universal Soldier, or Highlander, for that matter, so I see Trips pulling off what Goldberg and Edge couldn't. (Actually, I'd do anything to see him disappear from WWE television)
jester 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I'm thinking that during filming, HHH was going around saying that Wesley Snipes couldn't act a scene properly, and couldn't do "action-move style." He also helpfully suggested that rather than having Blade kill his character, it would be much more interesting if HHH's won all the fights in the movie to set up a big money rematch in the next sequel. Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Universal Soldier II was just a bad decision on everyone's part, as that movie ws pretty much the fork in Van Damme's theatrical film career.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 not to mention that Wesley Snipes is a bigger draw now then Van Dam was then. Although not by much. Oh yeah, and Jessica Biel isn't bad either

(Actually, I'd do anything to see him disappear from WWE television) Was Edge suppose to really "pull off" anything? I thought he was just in the movie for a bit and had, like, six words to say... Although him doing to movie was worth it, only for the "Edge wins the Oscar" 5 second pose E&C did.... Anywho, I'm sure Trips did a fine job at "intense, bad ass, bad guy". The guy does do the role every week, so he's pretty familiar with it, I assume.
Special K 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I'm sorry, but No one can beat Ron Perlman. At anything. Except for a don't-look-like-a-monkey contest. Best henchman.
Guest Duncan Eternia Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Someone at the IMDB boards posted this about HHH. I found it um...interesting. HHH is the most self absorbed, arrogant, persuasive, ignorant, uncaring, assholes ever to come into the business. Let me me break it down for you.(and no, that wasn't a DX reference.) This duscebag comes from as a floundering WCW wrerstler , rolls to the WWF and becomes Hunter Hurst Helemsly. Then he saw the power that the Kliq had. (Shawn Micheals, Scott Hall, Kevin Knash, Sean Waltman, Justin Credible) So he decided to be apart of that. Though it semiworked, Shawn Micheals, being a man, decisided to pass the the torch to his boy. Shawn went out with a supposed "back injury" that left him on the shelf for four years. Now since that point that Shawn left he has went on to become a multity time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, married the bosses daughter, and absouluty refuses to give anyone else a push. The only one under HHH's Raw reign was Chris Beniot, HHH never beat him. Now bust this. How are you going to have HHH lose Benoit like 4 times with Randy Orton beating Benoit clean, only to have a 24 year old kid loose to HHH within a month. *beep*. HHH is greety, worthless, son of a bitch. F***, he's married to the bosses wife, get's whatever he wants, won't give it up, and just plain worthless. Let me give you and the WWE some advice *beep*: You're inheriting the company, so why don't make some fans happy and step off and give new guys a break, like Shawn Micheals did you. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0505391/board/nest/12259728
Guest theanswer1824 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 this movie will be good as long as he doesn't "hold down" wesley snipes. wesley did an awesome suplex in the final fight scene in pt.2 . you think hhh will sell for snipes?

Blade is a much bigger franchise than Universal Soldier, or Highlander, for that matter, so I see Trips pulling off what Goldberg and Edge couldn't. Edge was in "Highlander: Endgame" for what? 5 seconds? <---"Highlander" mark. Universal Soldier II was just a bad decision on everyone's part, as that movie ws pretty much the fork in Van Damme's theatrical film career. Not that anyone cares, but Goldberg was in Universal Soldier: the Return (the 4th one), not Universal Soldier 2. Although even Tony Shiavone called it Universal Soldier 2. (Shiavone screwing up something's name? I can tell everyone's dying of shock.)
