iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2004 Bored, I have to say that you went a little overboard here. A few obscure mid-major games are fine, and there's no need to predict games like USC/Washington or Oklahoma/Kansas. With that being said, passing up Tennessee/South Carolina for Central Michigan/Western Michigan is ridiculous. You've got a vulnerable top ten team going on the road to take on an extremely underrated Gamecock team who should be ranked, and still has a legitimate shot at winning the SEC East. Outside of the Thursday night game, that's probably the most likely upset in the whole Top 25. I like what you're doing taking the more even games, but if you have a game of national significance that seems like it has a good shot at an upset, you should definitely leave it in over crappy mid-major games. Edit: Not to hammer the issue, but according to Vegas, USC over Tennessee isn't even an upset. The line's even and the game's listed as a pick 'em. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
