As the election approaches, Kyle tries to convince everyone that his candidate, a giant douche, is better than Cartman’s nominee, a turd sandwich." moral suasion 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2004 The first part of season 8 was a huge letdown. Hopefully Matt and Trey can turn it around for the second half.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2004 The Mel Gibson episode made the first half perfect in every way. The rest of the episodes could have sucked, the Passion of the Jew was awesome in every way.
Brocklock 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2004 The first part of season 8 was a huge letdown. Hopefully Matt and Trey can turn it around for the second half. What!!! The Weapon episode, The You Got Served episode and The Jimmy Steroid episode all ruled. As did The Mel Gibson one, but not as much as the previous three. DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2004 The new episodes will air in Canada the following Thursday on your computer after a trip to alt.bin.southpark. That's what I do, anyway. I normally don't advocate piracy but it's just TV, I delete the episode once I watch it, and I don't get the Comedy Network. They used to take FOREVER to air the new episodes from what I gathered, but they seemed pretty on top of it this 1/2 season (the episodes actually aired this calendar year!) Guest Smues Report post Posted October 26, 2004 The first part of season 8 was a huge letdown. Hopefully Matt and Trey can turn it around for the second half. WHAT?? Ninja Weapons, Passion of the Jew, Michael Jackson, Awesome-o, and probably my favorite of episode of the series You got serveddddd. The only episode that sucked was the goo-backs one. Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2004 Very disapointed that the J-Lo episode was ranked number 1 by the viewers. It's not only not the deserving to be in the Top 25, but it's just not very funny.

Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2004 I was wondering if they were ever going to do an episode with PETA in it. And Scott Tenormen Must Die should've been WAY higher than it was. The end of that episode was by far Cartman's greatest moment. The way it went from "generic Cartman acts like an ass" episode to "Cartman is an Evil Genius" was just brilliant writing. Top 5 episode, easily

Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 26, 2004 Very disapointed that the J-Lo episode was ranked number 1 by the viewers. It's not only not the deserving to be in the Top 25, but it's just not very funny. Yeah, I found that disappointing, but I was expecting it after it was in every single commercial. Too bad there's easily 20 episodes out there that were better.

Slayer 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2004 I was switching back and forth between the SP marathon and the WS and caught the top 5 and felt a mix of satisfaction and disappointment 5. The "shit" episode - Still hilarious 4. Lemmiwinks - didn't care much for this one 3. Original Mr. Hanky episode - I've never been a big fan of Mr. Hanky and his episodes 2. Ninja Weapons - My first time seeing this and I was choking with laughter throughout, especially when Cartman turns Kyle into a chicken 1. JLo - The disappointment to end all disappointments Is there a full list anywhere? I wanna know where some of my other favorite episodes (Cripple Fight, Hate Crime, Trapper Keeper, It's Butters!) wound up

Ms. Crabtree goes off to find help, and winds up embarrassing CarrotTop and becoming a professional comedian. Meanwhile, the kids can't get off the bus because a big, scary monster will eat them. As a result, they think back to all the previous episodes - like Cartman actually getting buff off Beefcake, Stan constantly making out with Wendy, and Fonzie jumping over a pool filled with sharks. Very underrated episode.
The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2004 I, too, wish Scott Tenorman Must Die was Number One. It was perfectly crafted and the episode felt that it went longer than it did. It was sheer brilliance of "Dude, I'm never going to piss of Cartman again"

Slayer 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2004 Too many recent episodes on the list, especially some notable disappointments IMO I also have to wonder too about the fact that the two two-parters were voted in the exact order of one after the other
The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2004 I would assume they were voted together with close to equal amounts of votes, so they just put them together...technically making the list 25 episodes.

It was sheer brilliance of "Dude, I'm never going to piss of Cartman again" too bad it was only made reference to once more.
