Kahran Ramsus Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 You guys would hate our elections. The numbers bounce around all the time when the networks call a riding, and then change their mind.
Rob E Dangerously Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Some of the panhandle is coming in: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/res...P/00/index.html
Eclipse Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Does anyone think we will have the results of this election tonight?
JoeDirt Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Looking pretty bad for Kerry. Why? Because it looks like Bush is going to win Florida?
KingPK Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Does anyone think we will have the results of this election tonight? Unofficially, maybe. We'll know by tomorrow morning. Then, they fire up the lawyers.
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Does anyone think we will have the results of this election tonight? Oh God I hope so, no matter who it is. I don't think I could stand another month-long wait-n'-see period.
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 HA! Obama with 83% of the vote, compared to Keyes' 14%. Bend over, Alan. You are totally his bitch.
teke184 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Does anyone think we will have the results of this election tonight? Oh God I hope so, no matter who it is. I don't think I could stand another month-long wait-n'-see period. Depends on how the states fall... If Kerry loses Pennsylvana, Ohio, Michigan, or Florida, he's in trouble. If Bush wins some combination of Florida, Ohio, Iowa, New Mexico, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, he wins.
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 God, now we have Brit Hume arguing with Susan Estrich.
Guest MikeSC Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 God, now we have Brit Hume arguing with Susan Estrich. What a cunt she is. -=Mike

If Bush wins some combination of Florida, Ohio, Iowa, New Mexico, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, he wins. If Bush wins Florida, Iowa, and either Wisconsin or Minnesota, his odds of winning increase dramatically. If Bush wins Ohio AND Florida - he's pretty much got it in the bag.

If Bush wins Ohio AND Florida - he's pretty much got it in the bag. Iowa and Wisconsin, from early reports, are trending Bush. The question is whether Bush's Florida lead holds up once Miami precincts report in.
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 And now they're debating the accuracy of exit polls. This is just silly.
bobobrazil1984 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Jeez some of these lines in these states are stretched out to hell. We're not going to have a president tonight, no way no how. Especially in Ohio.
teke184 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Kentucky race between Bunning and Montinwhatever is up to 50-50. If things keep up at this rate, Bunning will win with 51% by the time all the votes are in.
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I can't get any of my goddamn work done. Michigan "too close to call". Well, lovely.
teke184 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Texas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Kansas, North Dakota, and South Dakota all called for Bush. New York and Rhode Island called for Kerry.
KingPK Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 FNC's calling a shitload of states now. 156-112 Bush.
JoeDirt Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Funny they called ND. I know it's obviously a Bush state, but voters in the Mountain time zone still have an hour left to vote.
teke184 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Different states close at different times... New York is in the Eastern time zone but didn't close until well after Indiana et all closed and were called.
Kahran Ramsus Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 The Colorado Popular Vote Amendment Fails
JoeDirt Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Different states close at different times... New York is in the Eastern time zone but didn't close until well after Indiana et all closed and were called. Yeah but ND is one of those split time zone states, and they didn't wait until both time zones were closed to make their pick. Of course Bush will win by 30% there so it's not too much of a risk...
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 The Colorado Popular Vote Amendment Fails As expected. I think the last poll I saw before the election was around 65% against.
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I swear, no one is gonna call Florida until something like 100% are reporting in.
KingPK Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 It will be interesting to see A) How many young voters went to the polls (by the sound of things, they made their 20M quota) and B) How it broke down, and the reasons they gave.
teke184 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I swear, no one is gonna call Florida until something like 100% are reporting in. After 2000, NO ONE will call one of these huge states like Florida, Ohio, or Pennsylvania until all votes are counted because of the impact it has if they're wrong. We'll probably get results from Hawaii before they call any of those three.
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Now FOX has Neil Cavuto and his giant melon head. Just give me data, boys, not fluff.
teke184 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 As of the latest numbers, Jim Bunning is down 4000 votes out of 1.4 million cast with 85% of precincts reporting. He had been down several percent earlier tonight.
KingPK Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Bush still seems to be holding his FLA lead, but I heard that it might take until the morning to count the votes in counties like Miami-Dade and Palm Beach.
