JoeDirt Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 ...name three more people you'd like to see cut from RAW or Smackdown, and three guys you'd like to see the WWE sign. (Mention which brand you'd put them on, too.)
razazteca Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Fire: Coach, Grisham, Christy Hire: anybody with at least 5 years experience as a wrestling announcer who is not from KC.
PsychoDriver Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Just fire Bob Holly already. That's all.... Hire: Adam Pearce Colt Cabana Samoa Joe
SamoaRowe Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Fire: Tyson Tomko is really the only one who comes directly to mind. Hire: Gangrel (biased opinion), Frankie Kazarian, and Chad Collyer (also biased opinion).
1234-5678 Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Bring back Raven, Kanyon and Perry Saturn.
Guest JMA Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Fire: Bob Holly, Lita, and Tyson Tomko. Hire: AJ Styles (Smackdown), Christopher Daniels (RAW), CM Punk (RAW). Can I fire/hire more than three people?
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Fire: Tomko, Holly, Stamboli Hire: Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Abyss Put Joe and Styles on Smackdown, and put Abyss on Raw.
Lil' Bitch Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Fire: Bob Holly, Tyson Tomko, Scotty 2
SamoaRowe Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Am I the only one who kind of likes having Hardcore Holly around?
Stephen Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Fire: Bob Holly, Maven and Heidenreich Hire: Bryan Danielson (Raw) Samoa Joe (Smackdown) Teddy Hart (Smackdown)
Celtic Jobber Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Fire: Mark Henry, Lillian Garcia, and Todd Grisham Hire: Raven (Smackdown), Samoa Joe (Smackdown), and Joel Gertner (Raw)
Enigma Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Am I the only one who kind of likes having Hardcore Holly around? Yes
Guest Coffey Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Well, the people I'd want hired are just people that'd be better off working good matches in the Indies, so I won't list anyone. People like American Dragon and CM Punk would just end up like Ultimo Dragon did in WWE. The first three people that come to mind when thinking about who WWE should fire are: 1.) Jerry Lawler 2.) Torrie Wilson 3.) The Coach The only person I could think to hire would be Don "Cyrus" Callis to replace Jerry Lawler as Raw's color commentator.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 I wouldn't mind having Hardcore around in a JTTS role, because he has some small name value. The trouble is his attitude and behavior just don't make it worthwhile to keep him on.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 I'm not too sure if Punk would end up being in the Ultimo Dragon role. Danielson would certaintly get wasted but CM PUNK has natural charisma and is a fantastic promoer and can be a masterful heel or face. I'd perfer him to stay in ROH and asst. indies where he can have his routine broadway matches. Fire: The Coach, Grisham and Rodney Mack Hire: AJ Styles (Smackdown), 2 good announcers who have watched wrestling before and can tell the difference between Jericho and Edge.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Fire: Hardcore Holly, Heidenreich, Jerry Lawler Hire: Jesse Ventura(take over for Lawler), Ron Killings(Raw), AJ Styles(SD)
Guest Rrrsh Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Fire: Lawler, Heidenrich and Tomko I wouldn't bother with guys like Scotty or Holly, because they dont waste time on TV
Guest Brian Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 They don't need to hire anyone to take Lawler's place. They have Heyman. Holly and his attitude should be gone by now. I'd advocate getting rid of Coach and Henry as well.
Detective Comics Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Get rid of Rodney Mack, Garrison Cade, and Ivory. Smackdown! would still have guys like Funaki and Shannon Moore to job, and RAW would have the likes of Val Venis and Steven Richards. For whatever reason, I don't mind guys like Holly or Heidenreich because from a storyline standpoint, I find them some what interesting. I'd bring in Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Hulk Hogan and put them all on Smackdown! ( )
The Niggardly King Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Fire: Lawler, Heidenreich, Holly Hire: Samoa Joe(Smackdown!), Steve Corino(RAW), Low Ki(Smackdown!)
Lord of The Curry Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Man, you guys are fuckin' mean. Why in God's name would you want to see guys like Samoa Joe's style get toned down to nothingness when you can just enjoy him now in ROH? But, for funs sake. Fire: Ivory, Spike Dudley and Tomko. Hire: Teddy Hart, CM Punk and American Dragon (only if he was put in a student/teacher storyline with Benoit).
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 I wonder if CM PUNK came to WWE, with his character intact and a push, Who would Punk be paired with at the start? If Joe were to arrive in WWE, I'd love for him to get the Goldberg push where he beats the piss out of everyone for a few months and gets the title.
Guest Banders Kennany Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Why Coach? He is so well in his role of smarmy announcer heel. I would hire: CM Punk Brad Bradley Kenta Kobashi I would fire: Hiroko Rene Dupree Bob Holly MiZARK Henry Rodney Mack Shannon Moore Spike Dudley Bubba Dudley Bradshaw Tyson Rtomok
Guest Banders Kennany Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 I would probably fire more too.

Hire: Teddy Hart, CM Punk and American Dragon (only if he was put in a student/teacher storyline with Benoit). American Dragon vs Shawn michaels has the Student/storyline considering Shawn trained both Bryan and spanky. I can see your logic with bryan going to benoit for advice and such, eventually turning on him.
geniusMoment Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Fire: Tomko Holly Christy Rosey Heidenreich Undertaker Maven Bradshaw Mark Henry Kenzo Josh Matthews Grenier Conway Garrison Cade Rodney Mack Jazz Lawler Ross Cole Ivory Grisham All of the Dudley Boyz and many more. I would hire: Raven Cyrus CM Punk Joey Styles AJ Styles Roddy Piper (commentator) Heenan Corino Kanyon Tony Mamaluke I would bring in Whipwreck to team with Tajiri (add in Sinister Minister)

Dragon is more Benoit-like then Michaels like and in any good teacher/student storyline it's in the style and emulation, not who actually trains him that works out better. And while he'll never surpass his legacy, Dragon long surpassed Michaels in ability long ago.

And while he'll never surpass his legacy, Dragon long surpassed Michaels in ability long ago. Perhaps in just one aspect. However, charisma, mic skills, the ability to connect with fans, a certain look and the ability to portray subtle mannerisms all go into being a great wrestler, being great in the ring is not enough to be considered a great wrestler in my opinion, a great worker, not a great pro wrestler.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Why do people want to fire the Coach? He's arguably one of the most over heels on the show. Come to think of it, isn't kind of sad that Coache's slow-burn feud with the Rock is one of the most well-built up ones the WWE has done lately? They could put it on PPV and it would probably draw more than JBL at this point.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Coach gets pops, true. However, as needs to be said on a regular basis, pops don't always translate into drawing power, and Coach has none of that.
