Tony149 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2004 (edited) You know the drill. Show is November 28th. Send everything to Tony149. The Love Doctors vs. Black T Hell's Hitmen vs. New New Midnight Express THE SET: Since the event is taking place at Texas Stadium, a football field, the ring is positioned in the center of the field. There will be TWO ENTRANCEWAYS: One for the faces, one for the heels. No ramp this month. The wrestlers will walk out of a sliding gold star outlined with strobe lights (this is where the tunnels would be on the football field). The faces will come out from the right side of the set, the heels from the left. It's a good walk from the set to the ring, so be sure to keep that in mind. THE RING: Silver ringposts, gold ropes and black turnbuckle pads. NOTE: Please be sure to save a copy of your work, just in case its mistakenly deleted. NYU 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2004 Just for my own personal interest: Does the name of "Thanksgiving Star Wars" have any significance? Are there any hidden puns I'm missing here or something? And oh yeah, Drek Stone will be competing in a match. A match that will get more hype on HeldDown this THURSDAY!!!

Thanks in advance. Does the name of "Thanksgiving Star Wars" have any significance? Are there any hidden puns I'm missing here or something? If you haven't already found a team, you could use the FanBoys, two nerds who dress like TV/movie characters. No hidden puns. TSW was a supercard promoted by World Class Championship Wrestling in the '80s. When Zack told me about a WCCW DVD I should check out, I looked up the promotions history and came across the name which I thought was great. PM'd Zack about naming the November PPV TSW, he agreed. That's the story of the name.

But what the heck...it's almost a tradition now to come up with the most bizarre PPV name possible. I knew that was coming! From you too. We should of had an office pool to find out how long it'd take. Of course I would of said minutes after the thread was created, so I would of lost. Zack, you can share this one with me since you OK'd the name. I hope nobody finds Climax cheesy because that's next month's PPV. And that's courtesy of one Mr. Zack Malibu. If you think that's bad, Popick suggested "ClimaXXX." OAOAST: Home of the unique. And damn proud of it. Edited November 10, 2004 by Tony149
