NoCalMike Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 You know, the Redskins problems might not have been Spurrier's fault last year. They're even worse now. -=Mike The offense is worse, but the defense is better. Brunell was the biggest mistake of the offseason, watching Ramsey today, seeing how he handled the offensive scheme better then Brunell has all season, reiterates this point that Ramsey should have been the starter from day one, and now he gets to spend the second half of this season learning and doing what he should have been doing through the first 8 games. Didn't I say Ramsey should have started from day 1? You're not the only one......
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 I was saying they were insane to sign Brunell when they had Ramsey like about everyone else here.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 So Peyton Mannning needs 14 touchdowns in his final 6 games to set the all-time single season record, and 15 to break 50 for the season. Anyone think he's not going to get there? Because I'm definitely betting he takes it.
Lightning Flik Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 All he needs to do is get 5 next week and I'll say he breaks it. For now, I'll just say he'll get close.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 He'll get 13 and then suffer some injury that ends his season.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 The Eagles are going to clinch the division *IN WEEK 12* next week. Has that ever been done before?
mike546 Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 For a team missing five guys from their starting D, and a team using walk-ons to play on D, I have no idea how the Giants stopped Michael Vick in the 2nd half. If it weren't for Carlos fucking Emmons, we might have actually won the game.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Yes the 9ers did it in 11 or 12 weeks the year Rice got hurt.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Packers D was playing decent up until Johnson got them on a short pass and chewed up yardage on what was probably a weakside blitz. You can't stop Andre Johnson you can only hope to contain him..
therealworldschampion Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 The next 2 games are huge for the Eagles, as the first one is for the division title against the Giants, and the second one against Green Bay will be a very good test to see how they'll be able to fare in the playoffs. I'm very interested in seeing how the run defense does against Tiki Barber and Ahman Green now with the changes Reid made. If they can do a decent job against the run in the next 2 weeks, that will be a good sign for January.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 All I can say about the Ravens is that next Sunday is going to be one hell of a game. The Ravens have somewhat of an edge on Pittsburgh, even though they are down 2 games, in that they beat them once already and if they can close the gap to 1 game between now and December 26th, then if they can beat Pittsburgh they would have the tiebreaker if they stay tied..

They have an edge over Pittsburgh in every way except actually playing the game.
Art Sandusky Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 FUCK INTERCEPTION This game very well may go to OT.
Art Sandusky Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Neeeeeeeevermind, Packers win on another last-second field goal.
Kahran Ramsus Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Well, I have to say I was scared there for a little while.
Art Sandusky Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 I was worried that the Houston game would be a letdown, and also because Houston is better than their record.
packwingfn Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Defense played well 2nd half. No big plays. Stupid play calls by Houston tho
Guest MikeSC Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 I was saying they were insane to sign Brunell when they had Ramsey like about everyone else here. Heck, I was saying that. Why would a guy who lost his spot to a less-than-impressive (at the time) Byron Leftwich start over Ramsey who was decent last season? -=Mike
Slayer Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Missed most of yesterday with other things... All I can say is Vikings win GOOD, Packers win BAD
Black Lushus Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 why can't Cement Shoes play this well all year round anymore? The Bills special teams has been awesome all season and McGahee with yet ANOTHER 100 yard game...bah, forget it, I said enough about this team in previous threads...can't wait til next season... Anyway, you guys are lucky, I get sutck with KC, Denver and Minnesota games every Sunday...go me!
Slayer Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Swap Minnesota with Dallas (booooo) and that's my TV region
Damaramu Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 I just thought I'd let everyone know that David Carr has nice hair..... Course I had to watch this game with my mom who wants Bret Farve's nuts so it wasn't very enjoyable. I was rooting for the Pack to but jeez I thought she was going to explode everytime they picked up a first down.
Slayer Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 I just thought I'd let everyone know that David Carr has nice hair..... I saw that last night, but I thought his dad sheared him clean back when they won two in a row
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 And the Packer win was without two of their top running backs and Darren Sharper, who is apparently still nursing an injury. Bhawoh Jue has played a solid game in his place, but nothing spectacular. Hell, a win's a win.. And the Texans offense was mighty impressive from what I saw.. At least a lot better than I expected them to play. The defense played even better. I think that's a team that's got great things in the future, that'll be a hell of a division to play in next year...
