Swift Terror Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Yale students, posing as Harvard Prep club members, passed out cards for Harvard fans to hold up during the game. They were told it would spell out "Go Harvard" when they were collectively held up and flipped over. It actually spelled "We Suck". A simple prank, but effective. Photo can be seen here, as well as a video. www.harvardsucks.org
kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 That's alright, that's OK -- we'll be working for them someday...
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 I find it even funnier that these Harvard kids didn't realize there's no W, E, S, U, C, or K in "Go Harvard".
nl5xsk1 Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 I find it even funnier that you think one card would have an entire letter on it.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 I was assuming they meant like those signs they typically hold up at sporting events where a group of people hold up a collection of one-letter signs in order to spell something out.
moral suasion Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 I was assuming they meant like those signs they typically hold up at sporting events where a group of people hold up a collection of one-letter signs in order to spell something out. Me too. Once I saw the real thing....wow...amazing
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Anyone have pics of the real thing? The above link doesn't seem to be working.
jimmy no nose Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 http://pantheon.yale.edu/~pmf8/harvardsucks.html That's awesome. That has to be a lot of work to figure out which seats need each color.
Dr. Tom Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Awesome. Rivalry stories like this are almost always great.
Exslade ZX Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 The little Rich Asian dude from 'How High' is in that Yale video. But that is indeed, awesome.
