AmericanDragon Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 http://www.bluetights.net/videos/begins.avi The good quality quicktime version will be on the official site on Monday. edit: another link but bad frame rate http://homepage.mac.com/capeandcowl/.Movies/bb.mpg
bobobrazil1984 Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Looks pretty cool... but i really hope all the travelling and training doesn't take up an hour of the movie. I really want to see BATMAN. I get the faint feeling that if Nolan and WB are not careful, the movie could end up with a slight Hulk-type problem, where they spend so much time on down to earth character story, that they forget the audience is there to see the title character!!!
Guest El Satanico Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 It's already pretty well known that this is more of a Bruce Wayne movie than Batman. From what I've heard he doesn't appear in the suit until well into the movie. You didn't really think they'd waste this steller cast on just a typical comic book film did you. Didn't think it was possible, but now I'm looking forward to seeing this even more than before.
2GOLD Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Looks pretty cool... but i really hope all the travelling and training doesn't take up an hour of the movie. I really want to see BATMAN. I get the faint feeling that if Nolan and WB are not careful, the movie could end up with a slight Hulk-type problem, where they spend so much time on down to earth character story, that they forget the audience is there to see the title character!!! But it won't matter if the studio is aware of this and fully support the direction of the film. The major problem "THE HULK" hit was I don't think the studio was fully aware what they were getting and when they got back the numbers, they didn't feel it was a good enough series to support. "Batman Begins" could head into "Hulk" territory but it should be safe if the WB fully supports it. And they seem like they do.
Nighthawk Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 Of course, Batman is like their third in line mascot, behind Bugs Bunny and that "Welcome back niggers!" frog.
Guest TheLastBoyscout Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 Wow... the scope and scale of this project impress the hell out of me. The visuals already look awesome, Neeson's Ducard looks cool as hell, and Bale is just note perfect in this trailer.
Guest JMA Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 I have a feeling that this film will be epic. It could even do similar numbers to Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2.
AmericanDragon Posted December 13, 2004 Author Report Posted December 13, 2004 High quality version. http://pdl.warnerbros.com/wbmovies/batmanb...i/trailer_a.mov

Ravenbomb Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 *Groan* 6 months, 1 day, 1 hour and 4 minutes...
eiker_ir Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 niceeeee...some shots kinda remind me of Cruise in The Last Samurai, and i really like the bit where he's painting his suit, looks pretty cool.
justsoyouknow Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 Here's the international teaser poster, just for good measure. Batman battles ninjas? I like.
Youth N Asia Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 I wouldn't mind a story driven Batman. You can say the same about The Hulk...but Hulk was just boring with characters that didn't make you care about the movie.
Guest SideFXs Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Ok, does anyone else think that the villian, in that trailer was Tom Cruise? Screams, "Where are you?"
Boner Kawanger Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 No. If anything, he looked like a skanky Billy Boyd.
Guest SP-1 Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 (edited) HULK's problem wasn't pacing or character development time. Hulk's problem was that it spent the movie building up a confrontation between Hulk and his father and then gave us Hulk vs. a big cloud. A better ending would have made Hulk a nearly perfect comic book movie. Edited December 19, 2004 by SP-1
