JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2004 Kid Krazy Joey E Shaun Tempers Cody O'Neill Justin Adams Josh Abercrombie Breyer Wellington Eric Priest Brandon Thomaselli (haven't gotten to see him in IWA-MS) yet. Super Hentai Might add more later...also, are there any indy guys out there nobody knows about that are going to be something in a few years?
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted December 11, 2004 I am familiar with Super Hentai as I am what you would call an IWC regular, and that is where he wrestles. He's a pretty solid worker, very small, and has had a decent feud over the last year or so in IWC with Alex Shelley. He's now been wrestling against Sebastion Dark in the IWC in a pretty solid feud. Here's a pic too....

Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2004 Josh Abercrombie and are Breyer Wellington Michigan workers. Breyer's a cruiser, pretty solid in the ring but he doesn't stand out.. I haven't seen enough of Josh, I've only seen a few of his matches, not overly impressed. edited for butchering of the english language

Guest Markingout Report post Posted December 11, 2004 Josh Abercrombie- Bah, I don't know why this man works IWA-MS just seems like he is there to fill up the undercard. Some people like him, I think he is horrid. Brandon Thomaselli- Not that great of a worker, training from IRON has made him a pretty solid technical worker. With some help from expierenced guys like Punk and Hero, he could be good. I think that's why Ian is pushing him, he could be something in a few years. LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2004 Eric Priest's nickname is "Underwear Model." He works in the Chicago/Illionois area, I believe. His most famous match was against Shane Douglas in MSPW, I believe the fed's name was. Is the MPW Kid Krazy the same as the PWF Northeast Kid Krazy, or are they different? Guest Evolution Report post Posted December 15, 2004 Eric Priest: Indeed, he works in the Chicago area, and just won the NWA Midwest Tag Team Titles with his partner Matt Longtime (as The Centerfolds) from the Midwest Express at NWA: No Limits/IWA: Mid South's most recent show. The Centerfolds are the stereotypical pretty-boy homosexual tag team. Josh Abercrombie: Not bad, but certainly not good. I've seen him wrestle a couple of times and wasn't overly impressed, but who knows what could happen? Brandon Thomaselli: I agree that he could be something, but I don't think it'll take a few years. He should get a pretty strong following in Highland (if not elsewhere) for IWA shows as I rather enjoy him. As for guys that could breakout, I'd like to mention Mr. Elite. He's a big follower of old-school Memphis heel style wrestling infused with the moveset of today's indy wrestler, and if he gets a few chances here and there he could get a chance to prove himself. He's been given undercard spots with NWA: No Limits, and has tried out with OVW in the past. IWA: Mid-South bookings might be in his future.

Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2005 -Ace Rockwell -Mikal Adrayn -Skeeter Frost Rockwell's alright. Not too flashy and kind of limited. He does have a really great finisher, the Flagrant Foul (hooks a guy for the Unprettier, rolls over his back and flips him back to drop him on his head Vertebreaker-style). Adryan's not that good, but Wildside's booking protects him well. He wrestles much like any one of the faceless huge bodybuilder jocks that WWE hires frequently, only without as much muscle mass (he is a legit 6'6 though). Frost...I personally think he's the plague, but I heard he's improved into a decent wrestler. His gimmick does reek of "Special Olympics John Cena", though. Guest Gene_Madrid Report post Posted January 4, 2005 Been lucky enough to see quite a bit of Wildside lately. Shaun Tempers- 1/2 of Pomp and Circmustance in Wildside. Has nice punches, and bumps really well. He's kind of out of shape, but if he dropped a few pounds I think he'd be great. Has some neat names for his moves too, I know one is the Temper-Pedic which is a cobra-clutch backbreaker. The other is the Temper Tantrum, some weird pumphandle suplex thing. Apparantly he had a decent match with JC Bailey at the IWA/Wildside challenge. Ace Rockwell- the other half of Pomp and Circumstance. Definately the more charismatic. He's a decent worker that can turn it on sometimes and really hang with better talent. P and C work really well as a team, though and you can tell that's really where they're most comfortable. Good to see a real tag team, though, with a gimmick and matching gear. I also think the Flagrant Foul is pretty cool, as is their Ultimate Highlight move. Looks like Wildside is building them up to lead the tag division in the future. Mikal Adryan- Yeah, he's pretty well a big stiff. He can do some impressive stuff for a big man, but he's just not convincing enough in the role to me. Skeeter Frost: Skeeter doesn't do the rapper gimmick anymore. He's teaming regular with NC indy mainstay Sweet Dreams in a mid-card babyface tag team. I think they've been feuding with Alabama Attitude (who I can't stand). Skeeter has some really cool spots. His work is 50-50 from what I've seen depending if he's "on".
Guest Gene_Madrid Report post Posted January 4, 2005 Speaking of Frost, sorry to say, I was just reading on the Wildside message board where he broke his collar bone on a botched springboard moonsault at Christmas Chaos....ouch.
Guest Evolution Report post Posted January 4, 2005 Saw Skeeter Frost at the last NWA: No Limits show and I enjoyed him. It was easy to make Lil' Jon jokes about his name, but I think the real highlight was being a part of a pullapart brawl between Ryan Boz and Jimmy Jacobs (if I remember correctly) and during the brawl turning to slap hands with some of the fans instead of pulling Boz and Jimmy apart. Hilarious stuff. I've only seen Rod Steel once when I watched the CZW Trifecta Elimination, and I loved him. That neckbreaker move that he does (Deep Dicker, I think it was called by one of the lovely CZW announcers) is excellent, and he does a sweet STO, so he gets much pointage in my book. I hope to see more of him.

thuganomics 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 Mike Shane is 1/2 of the former NWA Tag Team Champions, The Shane Brothers. His brothers name escapes me a the moment, though they are twins. They are perhaps most infamously known from the early TNA days, where they wrestled as Richard and Rod Johnson, and wore giant penis suits....
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2005 I haven't seen any CHIKARA shows yet so can only go off of the TPI 6-Man...is 'Sweet and Sour' Larry Sweeney any good? Same for Hallowicked and Chandler McClure, who I haven't seen much of yet either.
Guest Evolution Report post Posted January 6, 2005 I haven't seen any CHIKARA shows yet so can only go off of the TPI 6-Man...is 'Sweet and Sour' Larry Sweeney any good? Same for Hallowicked and Chandler McClure, who I haven't seen much of yet either. Chandler McClure has a nice following of people in the midwest area, where he's pretty much worked his "football referee" gimmick to perfection with Bryce Benjamin, the other half of the All-Stars. He doesn't have too much for wrestling ability, but he's not terrible and what he doesn't have he makes up for in putting on entertaining and sometimes downright funny matches. Can't tell you anything about Sweeney or Hallowicked, however, as TPI is my only experience with them.
