JJMc Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 I move that the tape trading folder should be closed. Not immediately, but in the near future perhaps. The reason is that it gets next to no traffic these days and you're lucky if your thread reaches double digits in views. Maybe give it a couple of weeks and see how things go. Then, if this keeps up, give it the axe. All I'm saying is that the board space could be used for something else that people around here want rather than a tape board that sees little activity. -Jim

I'd nominate having a folder about CHEESE~!
Spaceman Spiff Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 The cheese is the best character on the show.
Bruiser Chong Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 Looks like a certain someone didn't have a problem with a certain folder until that certain someone couldn't move a certain lot of videos. Great, I said "certain" too many times and now it's lost its meaning.

Great, I said "certain" too many times and now it's lost its meaning. Ah, so the plot thickens. Thank you, Inspector Chong. In that case, the answer is a resounding NO. The tape trading folder stays. A folder to discuss cheese is still a distant possibility, though.
Spaceman Spiff Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 What show? I take it you've never seen "Rocko's Modern Life"?
Spaceman Spiff Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 Ah, well, nevermind. Maybe someobody else will get a chuckle out of the line.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 As part of his plea agreement, he's working with WWE to crush the wrestling tape traders.
JJMc Posted December 15, 2004 Author Report Posted December 15, 2004 As part of his plea agreement, he's working with WWE to crush the wrestling tape traders. Hehe. I didn't even know that anyone remembered me posting that. Honestly, though, my recent failure to sell off my remaining tapes was a small part of it. But the decision to post this was just a general observation that has been in the making for a while.

Certainly does, although truth be told, I didn't even realize that until you pointed it out.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 What show? I take it you've never seen "Rocko's Modern Life"? That's when Heffer and Filbert make the episode at the BigHead's Kid's cartoon studio.
Styles Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 How 'bout a cheese trading folder? I can get you guys a great deal on some provolone...
