ChrisMWaters Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 http://www.wwe.com/inside/specialty_matches/ I think there are some matches missing from the list...
SuperJerk Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 Submissions Only Match. Hair vs. Hair. Street Fight (technically the same as a hardcore match, though) Would 3 Stages of Hell be considered different than a regular Two-out-of-three Falls Match?
ChrisMWaters Posted December 18, 2004 Author Report Posted December 18, 2004 Submissions Only Match. I'm guessing they're catagorizing that under "I Quit" matches...*shrug*
Blade2kxx Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 Street Fight (technically the same as a hardcore match, though) Actually, from what I remember, Street Fights differ than Hardcore matches because to win the match, you must do the fall in the ring. Remember Kurt having to drag Shane back to the ring at KOTR'01?
GreatWhiteNope Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 Lion's Den, Iron Circle, Kennel In A Cell...
ChrisMWaters Posted December 18, 2004 Author Report Posted December 18, 2004 Kennel In A Cell... I think they want people to FORGET that match.
GreatWhiteNope Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 If you click the link next to "Handicap Match" there's a bout involving Zach Gowen listed as recommended viewing.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 18, 2004 Author Report Posted December 18, 2004 If you click the link next to "Handicap Match" there's a bout involving Zach Gowen listed as recommended viewing. ...I sadly marked for that match, actually.

As did I, like fucking crazy. But I was there live. My voice was gone. I actually was singing Zach's theme song when he won (how embarassing, I even played politics to put it on our Varsity soccer warm up tape that year too).
Astro7x Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 The No DQ/Street Fight match is a noticable one missing Survivor Series Elimination Match is not on there as well If they are going to throw the Blindfold match on there might as well add the 'one arm tied behind opponents back' match. Guantlet match is missing... especially since they have done that Tag team version of it a few times, but I forget the name they gave it.
GreatWhiteNope Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 They had one or two matches where the stipulation was "ECW Rules".

ChrisMWaters Posted December 18, 2004 Author Report Posted December 18, 2004 Another match I saw missing: CAPTURE THE MIDGET!
MillenniumMan831 Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 I don't see the "Over the Top--Off w/ the Top Match" (aka Holiday Topless Over the Top Match).
Frankie Williams Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 How about ___ on a pole, or the infamous Ball and Chain matches that Big Bossman had with Bobby Heenan?
Guest Fook Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 I'm noticing a lack of Coal Miner's Glove. And they have "Item on a Pole Match" listed.
Dobbs 3K Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 Um, I can't recall there ever being a coal miner's glove match in WWF/WWE.
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 The San Fransisco Gold Rush match?
NYU Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Jailhouse match. Hell, they even reshowed the match on Confidential one week. Odd they forgot about it...
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Raw Bowl. Four Way Dance with tag teams in Football uniforms.
KingPK Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 I don't see the "Over the Top--Off w/ the Top Match" (aka Holiday Topless Over the Top Match). Guess we've found another way for them to get those "Divas" on TV each and every week. Not that I'd COMPLAIN.
