GreatWhiteNope 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 I thought we could try this. You pick 10 famous names who you think will die in 2005 and list them in this thread. Then for every one that dies, you're awarded points. Points system is as follows: 10 points - Person on your list dies on or between 1/1/05 and 4/1/05 20 points - Person on your list dies on or between 4/1/05 and 7/1/05 30 points - Person on your list dies on or between 7/1/05 and 10/1/05 40 points - Person on your list dies on or between 10/1/05 and 12/31/05 50 points - BONUS for "Best Bet" The "Best Bet" is the one famous name on your list you designate as a "Best Bet" to die. If they die, you get the points for both the date of death and also the 50 BONUS points. You can designate only one "Best Bet". Deadline for submissions in this thread is next Monday (December 27th). Good luck! GreatWhiteNope Johnny Carson Dick Clark Bill Clinton Clint Eastwood Queen Elizabeth Larry Flynt Charlton Heston B.B. King Pope John Paul II *BEST BET* Zsa Zsa Gabor

Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted December 21, 2004 you should do a point system based on age. That way somebody doesn't go down a list of the oldest celebs out there. 60+ = 1 point 50-60 = 2 points 35-50 = 3 points 25-35 = 4 points 18-25 = 5 points
GreatWhiteNope 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 I did it this way so if someone is ailing now, you can still pick them but if they die in the first quarter of the year you would get the least amount of points.

Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted December 22, 2004 I think there should be a rule about those who are (possibly) going to be sentenced to death i.e. Scott Peterson. He won't get the needle until 2013 at the earilest. So if he dies in 2005 somehow, you should get double pts for Prison Murder.
