WWE has just signed popular indy female worker Angel Williams to a WWE developmental deal.

 

Williams appeard on several TNA PPVs including a single bouts against Trinity. Williams is originally from Canada and has worked for numerous indy promotions in the Mid-West. She appeared for Ring Of Honor as Jimmy Rave's valet as well this past November.

Eh... who cares. It's the WWE Womens division. Only 0.0005% of the fans actually care about it. She's not even close to being hot for an "eye candy" match either, like it matters anymore. They are just a waste of time.

They won't bring her up, I'm pretty sure of it. How long has Alexis been employed? They've had Nikita, Kim Nielson (Desire), Bobcat, Caryn Mawr, the diva contest winner, and a few others who have escaped my memory, all employed in recent year, only to eventually cut them without giving them a chance. The only ones who've broke through have been Gail Kim and Victoria - one took a long time to be called up, the other has been fired.

Nikita was set to be brought up more than once, but, for whatever reasons, it got dropped. Neilson was dropped because she drove people nuts. And Mawr was on tv for one SD, as Muffy, Stephanie's personal assistant/trainer.

If they wanted to bring in a female to play Lita's sister for a family feud/incest angle they should bring in that one redhead from TE 3. I can't think of her name but she looked ALOT like Lita.

Angel is NOT that good. She's a total WWE "pretty face that can't wrestle" type...she skipped out on one of the biggest opportunities for independent female wrestlers in America in a long time, as she skipped the IWA Mid-South/NWA Midwest Women's Title tournament in May to get breast implants put in. I haven't even seen it, but I'm guessing her match with Mickie Knuckles from Renselaar, Indiana (sp) last month for IWA was probably the best match she's had yet since not only is Mickie worlds better than her or the crop she came up with (Traci Brooks & ODB), but Mickie also just beat the shit out of her because...well, she's Mickie Knuckles and she's badass like that.
