Rock and HHH to compete for same role

Entertainment website Aintitcoolnews.com is now reporting that former WWE Champions Rock and Triple are both under consideration for the lead role of the planned "Masters of the Universe" movie based on a Mattel Toy Line.

 

According to the site, both wrestler's names came up during the discussion of the role of He-Man. The producers intend to make direct offers for the lead role, instead of going through auditions.

I predict the Rock will get the role which will lead to HHH getting a 14 month title reign as a sympathy gift from Steph.

Being the top He-Man mark on this board, I'm just glad a new He-Man movie is getting made. Let's hope it's better than the original.

I couldn't buy the Rock as He-Man. Call me a racist if you want, but He-Man was always a big blonde white guy, and out of the two, HHH fits the role the best. The Rock is hands down a better actor, but HHH LOOKS the role, and I would rather see it go to him. Only question is who would play Prince Adam? Would they have he and He-Man be the same size like in the original cartoon, or cast a short, skinny guy to be Adam?

Well, looks like HHH is starting to get that acting boner that The Rock started off with years ago. What would be cool is if HHH left to do this, therefore being hypocritcal about what he had to say about Rock, and also the fact that he'd be off TV for a while..

He would have to hope none of these insane Wrestling fans don't see the movie, people who never see him before probably can buy him playing a muscle bound goodguy. But for us and those fans that is a stretch.

 

Though I don't See the Rock at all in the role... I Do however See the Rock in the rumored Next CONAN movie.
