ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 OK, we are a few days away from New Year's Revolution, and I just wanted to see what the predictions of everyone for the card are. The matches are as follows: ELIMINATION CHAMBER, WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Batista WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Shelton Benjamin © vs. Maven WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP William Regal & Eugene © vs. Christian & Tyson Tomko WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP Lita © vs. Trish Stratus Kane vs. Gene Snitsky Jerry "The King" Lawler (w/Jim Ross) vs. Muhammed Hassan (w/Daivairi (can't remember the first name))
SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 Based on the "winner loses match before the PPV" rule, the main event is between Jericho, Benoit, and Triple H. ... Not hard to figure that one out.
Guest seth86 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 Elimination Chamber I'd like to see Batista win this but we all know thats not going to happen. Edge will also be eliminated and will blame Michaels for his loss. Jericho and Benoit most probably wont win either. Triple H will Pin Randy Orton to win back the title. Intercontinental Championship I dont think Maven deserves a title run yet. Shelton Benjamin will win. Tag Team Championship Christian and Tomko will probably win the titles. Women's Championship I dont see Lita dropping the title so fast. She's definately gonna win. Kane vs. Gene Snitsky Obviously Kane Jerry Lawler vs. Muhammed Hassan There would be no point in Hassan losing this match. He wins in a squash.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 World Heavyweight Championship: Triple H wins. IC Championship: Shelton Benjamin wins. Tag Team Championship: Eugene/Regal win. Women's Championship: Lita wins. Kane will beat Snitsky. Mohammad will beat Lawler.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted January 4, 2005 RAW Heavyweight Title: Triple H wins the title, probably last pinning Chris Benoit. Intercontinental Title: Maven def. Benjamin for the title. Tag Team Titles: Eugene & Regal def. Tyson & Christian since Tyson/Xtian have won both singles encounters. Kane will obviously redefine the term squash Hassan or whatever will beat Lawler, since Lawler is old and semi-retired. Lita retains over Trish.
Angle-plex 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 ELIMINATION CHAMBER, WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Batista -I'm deciding between either Triple H or Batista. I'm guessing they'll tease Batista going to turn on Trips and win the belt, but then he'll help him get the win. I'm not sure though, and when you're not sure, you always go with the safety... Winner: Triple H WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Shelton Benjamin © vs. Maven -Wow. What a match this should be. Great feud too. Winner: Shelton Benjamin WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP William Regal & Eugene © vs. Christian & Tyson Tomko -Don't care. Winner: Team that splits and gets out of the tag division after this match. WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP Lita © vs. Trish Stratus Winner: Lita Kane vs. Gene Snitsky Winner: Kane Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Muhammed Hassan Winner: Muhammaed Hassan~
jester 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 ELIMINATION CHAMBER, WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Batista HHH wins with lots of help from Batista. Batista spends the next few months making sure HHH knows that he wouldn't be champ without his help, leading to the eventual split. At least, that's would should happen. WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Shelton Benjamin © vs. Maven Probably Benjamin, but I'm worried they'll put it on Maven thinking it will somehow make him a star. WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP William Regal & Eugene © vs. Christian & Tyson Tomko Regal and Eugene are working well together. I think they'll keep the belts on them. WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP Lita © vs. Trish Stratus Probably Lita. And we thought this division couldn't get any deader. Kane vs. Gene Snitsky Snitsky got a reaction out of a horrible angle much to everyone's shock, but they'll be running out of ideas for him right about... now. Kane wins, Snitsky vanishes. Jerry "The King" Lawler (w/Jim Ross) vs. Muhammed Hassan (w/Daivairi (can't remember the first name)) Hassan will win, but not before Lawler works him over, making Hassan look completely useless. Hassan should annihilate Lawler completely to make him look strong, but it won't happen.
SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 So far everyone's guessing almost exactly the same stuff. WWE isn't THAT predictable, is it?
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted January 4, 2005 WWE isn't THAT predictable, is it? Paint-by-Numbers booking doesn't really leave much thought for "hmm... maybe this would happen." The only match I honestly have no clue about is Benjamin vs. Maven, since I have no idea how to react to a Maven push.
Guest JMA Report post Posted January 4, 2005 ELIMINATION CHAMBER, WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Batista Winner: Triple H WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Shelton Benjamin © vs. Maven Winner: Shelton Benjamin WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP William Regal & Eugene © vs. Christian & Tyson Tomko Winners: William Regal & Eugene WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP Lita © vs. Trish Stratus Winner: Lita Kane vs. Gene Snitsky Winner: Kane Jerry "The King" Lawler (w/Jim Ross) vs. Muhammed Hassan (w/Daivairi (can't remember the first name)) Winner: Muhammed Hassan Pretty standard stuff, really. spman 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 I imagine the Main Event will probobly come down to Triple H and Batista, then they'll do the FINGERPOKE OF DOOM finish, just to piss everyone off.

King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 ELIMINATION CHAMBER, WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Batista -- I'll say Benoit, just to be different. Then Trips beats Benoit at the Rumble. After all, that'd be a more convincing way to get his job back. WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Shelton Benjamin © vs. Maven -- I've a horrible feeling it'll be Maven. WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP William Regal & Eugene © vs. Christian & Tyson Tomko --Regal/Eugene WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP Lita © vs. Trish Stratus -- Lita retains. Kane vs. Gene Snitsky -- Squash win for Kane. Jerry "The King" Lawler (w/Jim Ross) vs. Muhammed Hassan (w/Daivairi (can't remember the first name)) -- Hussan wins, but The All Americans get their heat back post-match. Got to protect those announcers. Unless the Chamber goes INSANELY long, they'll likely tag on another match too. Dean/Rosey maybe.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted January 4, 2005 Triple H has never pinned Benoit in a singles match (in the last 4 years) before we get the argument "HHH pinned Benoit in the SSeries Elimination". I didn't see it, so I don't know if he won clean or not.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 I want Edge or Batista to win. By the way, are there DQs in the EC just in case Edge or HHH snaps and decide to attack the biased referee HBK?
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted January 4, 2005 HHH won with a sledgehammer shot at Summerslam, and I'm fairly sure the referee saw the whole thing.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 ELIMINATION CHAMBER, WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Batista Benoit gets eliminated first, then Edge, Batista(thanks to a HBK superkick), Jericho(thanks to Batista roid-raging and killing everyone dead, but Jericho even more dead than others, since the Clothesline of Death is especially strong on him), and finally HHH pins Orton thanks to a SHOCKING~! turn by HBK. WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Shelton Benjamin © vs. Maven Maven wins the title, but only holds on to it for one day WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP William Regal & Eugene © vs. Christian & Tyson Tomko As Eugene retains here and then goes on to become a double champ the next night on Raw. WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP Lita © vs. Trish Stratus Lita Kane vs. Gene Snitsky Kane, and within 2 months Snitsky is beating Val Venis in the opener of Heat. Jerry "The King" Lawler (w/Jim Ross) vs. Muhammed Hassan (w/Daivairi (can't remember the first name)) Hassan has to win this, and has to dominate in order to look like he's worth ANYTHING. King wins in 4 minutes.

By the way, are there DQs in the EC just in case Edge or HHH snaps and decide to attack the biased referee HBK? If DQs were to happen, it wouldn't work. You're inside a big cage, and you're supposed to beat people up using it, so that's pretty stupid if it's like that.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 Predictions: none of us buy this PPV, 2 or 3 of us beg for a webcast password, and the rest of us forget about this lousy PPV. ELIMINATION CHAMBER, WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Batista Winner: HHH, turns on Batista somehow, and somehow we end up with HBK/HHH XXXII for the Rumble. WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Shelton Benjamin © vs. Maven Winner: Shelton, because even WWE isn't stupid enough to put the IC title on Maven so soon. WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP William Regal & Eugene © vs. Christian & Tyson Tomko Winner: Champs retain. WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP Lita © vs. Trish Stratus Winner: Lita Kane vs. Gene Snitsky Winner: Kane, because he'd look like an absolute and utter pussy if he lost, and we know the only ones who get to make Kane look like a complete and utter pussy are Taker, HHH, and people named McMahon. Jerry "The King" Lawler (w/Jim Ross) vs. Muhammed Hassan (w/Daivairi (can't remember the first name)) Winner: Lawler gets cheap win after pulling out Memphis heel tricks, post-match beatdown. gWIL 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 I see Edge winning the title using the same finish from Hart/Taker match at SummerSlam, this time Shawn hits Benoit who he then fueds with until his Mania match with Edge. Snitsky vs Kane will end in a double DQ, setting up a Mania tag match. All other champions will retain.
Adam 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 Winner: Shelton, because even WWE isn't stupid enough to put the IC title on Maven so soon. Ha! We obviously haven't learn't anything about WWE in the past three years. ELIMINATION CHAMBER, WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Batista Well, my predictions are not unlike everyone elses. Triple H will win somehow, because I honestly cannot see them having enough faith in Batista to put the title on him. I would love to see Orton, Edge or Jericho win it, but, except for Benoits WrestleMania dream being fulfilled, WWE has a history of not giving me what I want. Winner: Triple H WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Shelton Benjamin © vs. Maven If Maven wins the IC Title I will cry. I think Shelton will retain, because they're building him as a Randy Orton-type Champion, and he'll get a 4 to 6 month reign with the belt. But you never know with this company. Winner: Shelton Benjamin WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP William Regal & Eugene © vs. Christian & Tyson Tomko Eugene and Regal to retain here, they're having the usual three month run with the belts before they job them to two Main Event stars who have just happened to tag for one night. Winners: William Regal and Eugene WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP Lita © vs. Trish Stratus Lita will retain, as tWWE love her and the marks lover her, so the writing team will want to keep the belt on her for a couple months, at least until Mania. Winner: Lita Kane vs. Gene Snitsky Kane's going over in much the same fashion as The Undertaker at WrestleMania XX, Snitsky's going to get about 5 offensive moves in, and thats it. Lita to celebrate with her 'husband' after the match. Winner: Kane Jerry "The King" Lawler (w/Jim Ross) vs. Muhammed Hassan (w/Daivairi (can't remember the first name)) I couldn't care less. If Hussan wins in a squash, I'll be ok with it. If Lawler wins by ten fist drops in a row, I won't be surprised, and I'll move on. Winner: Who really, honestly, truly cares? Really? Guest Phenom Report post Posted January 4, 2005 WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP (Elimination Chamber, Special Referee Shawn Michaels) Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Batista Winner: Edge Call me crazy, but I think he'll pull it off. WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Shelton Benjamin © vs. Maven Winner: Maven See above. WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP William Regal & Eugene © vs. Christian & Tyson Tomko Winners: William Regal & Eugene Christian and Tomko aren't very suitable for viable tag-team champions. WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP Lita © vs. Trish Stratus Winner: Lita No one wants to see the same thing that happened at the Series. Kane vs. Gene Snitsky Winner: Kane Or: How Glenn Got His Job Back Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Muhammed Hassan Winner: Muhammed Hassan New guys always wins. It's a rule. I would bloody hope that Lawler gets squashed, but hes a commentator, oooo, scary. No way you can be DQed in the EC. Just like you cant be DQed in any gimmick match to my knowledge. DQ and Submissions goes out of the window. Your surrounded by 2 miles of steel, weighing 10 tonnes and being 36 feet in radius or whatever they tell us repeatedly. How could you possibely be DQed. :S Since you cant be DQed can somebody explain to me why each and every one of them doesnt take a bloody lead pipe in with them, since thats what I would do.
