Anyone else get tired of ESPN blowing the Pats?

If you get ESPN, just pray we don't get a Pittsburgh-Atlanta Superbowl:

Did you know Ben Ro waited almost 2 hours to be drafted????

That he's won 20+ games in a row as a starter?????

Mike Vick can throw a football right-handed, and he gets flipped in mid-air a lot.

Nothing against the QB's or the teams, but we will get so much more new and recycled pieces.

It'll be worse if it's Indy-Atlanta. ESPN will be fighting amongst themselves for who gets to give Manning and Vick the next verbal blowjob.

in Stuart Scott's case he hasn't even grasped full use of the English language.

If you go back to his early time at ESPN, or if you've seen footage of him before his ESPN days, you know Stuart Scott used to be a normal talking guy until he decided he needed to be the voice of the "brothas". Funny thing is, most "brothas" I know can't stand his superficial act.

I know we're all latent homosexuals here at TSM, but do we have to keep using the blowjob metaphor?

Sez the guy that has a cartoon towel sucking on a glass penis shaped bong as his avatar.

I'm old school...I've been bringing the gay since this site was known as Rantsylvania.

Anyway, Brady. I understand where Czech is coming from...being from Louisville I have no home team in the NFL so I tend to root for the Colts. I sure as hell ain't rooting for the Bengals, and I dislike the Titans as well. The Rams aren't too lovable these days with Martz either, though I did like the 99 team reasonably well.

The Pats for the most part are just....boring. They're a vanilla, uninteresting team to watch. And I swear they are the luckiest team this side of the 2002 Ohio St. Buckeyes. I've never seen a team that seemingly ALWAYS gets some miracle lucky break, like the opposing QB throwing a dumbass INT at the goal line, or someone fumbling the ball in the red zone. I know they can force some turnovers, but this stuff happens all the damn time. Their like the HHH of football, constantly winning although people would rather see newer talent like the Colt or Steelers (or even the Chargers) get a push.

Let's summarise the thread in a way to make my side look smart and articulate and the other side look like stupid mouth-breathers. We call this the Franken Method. Here goes:

"There's Patriots media bias and it shows."

"no way d00d they like teh Vicks and Stelerz becuz Ben is a ruky, no way"

"Yes way. As a matter of fact, they are constantly lauded as the best team in the NFL despite few convincing victories. And Tom Brady is loved by the ESPN crew in what's almost a latent homosexual fashion."

"yah well they espn an they r st00pid hah"

"Well stupid or not, they're ESPN, and their opinions reach a huge part of sports-watching America."

"teh Patriots don't get bias they need more"

"On the contrary, this cannot be possible."

"....yah whatever they like the Flacons betters"

"OH MY GOD, HE'S WEARING A SUIT!!"

Defend that.

Most of ESPN's NFL guys are morons? That a good defense?

Is it just me or is Michael Irvin just about the best thing on NFL Countdown these days? And no, I don't think that's a good thing, even though I find him entertaining.
