Great, sly ending. 24 doesn't do that enough; maybe that's why this was so charming.

Great to see them get the two best actors on this season--Sutherland and Aghdashloo--in some scenes together. I really like the way everything is playing out at this point.

The reactors are going to go or be stopped in 2 hours, it seems. We've got our nuclear bomb/Teri and Kim kidnapped. What's next?

Another great episode.

All the stories are so good and tied together so well this season that at least for now, it feels like Season 1 again.

The Edgar thing was really well done. The Berouz and family storyline is probably my favorite non-Jack and non-Palmer storyline thus far.

Add me to the list of people who liked the ending line also.

This season is easily the best. The Palmer stuff in season 1 doesn't even compare to the Araz family. Palmer and his son endlessly have the same fight, same with Palmer and his wife. So much wasted time. Everything matters this season and everything is intense. I can't wait for Michelle to come over from division and clean house next episode, and I can't wait for the Tony/Michelle confrontation. The dad is going down next episode, the only question is whether or not they will drag it out for the whole hour.

I assume we'll be introduced to the real bad guys behind this whole thing next epsiode too. There's going to be something with that defense company, but another government conspiracy like season 2 doesn't really interest me.

Despite her being really, really evil, I think I would probably screw the terrorist mom.

I'd like to get me some of that Terrorist MILF also!

I am not ready to say that just yet. The first 10-12 or so hours of Season 2 (up to the bomb going off) were really good but the down stretch was pretty bad relative to what 24 is capable of. So far this season as been really, really good, but it could also get goofy with a big change in directions.

It is definitely the best season since Season One though unless it totally falls apart at the end (which I doubt it will).

It might have been asked already.

But where the hell is the president?

He's been flying in the air for 9 hours!

Maybe due to the attack?

He's on Air Force One, everything is set up on that plane so the president can basically run the country from the air during a crisis such as this.

Thanks to my work I've missed the last few episodes and it sounds like it's been real good too. :-( At least I'm on vacation next week so I won't miss next weeks episode thank God.

Pretty good stuff. Years of the Whedon-verse have dropped me to levels way beyond pessimism and hopelessness, but the cliffhanger this week was really good.

Since I'm new to this season, was Edgar there before, and had they played up his mom living in that area? Because if not, I felt that was overkill. And he came off as a little child against Erin when she asked what his mom would have wanted.

Brian,

Edgar's been the MAN (aside from Jack) this season. So far, this mild-mannered computer programmer has

1) Stopped 494 nuclear plants from melting down

2) Fingered the CTU mole

3) Not taken shit from Driscoll

Seriously, he's like Chloe, except useful and non-annoying.

I'm expecting that he,not Jack, will be the one to take down Driscoll in the end for her torture tactics.

He's been great, but I'm wondering where the mother thing came from because I felt it was overkill. As for Driscoll sitting him down, he got punked and took it, that all I'm saying. I wish he would have stepped up.

Edgar didn't really have a choice. Remember Driscoll telling him that If he tried to walk out he would be arrested and detained at CTU?

I'm certain Edgar's going to give Driscoll her come-uppance.

They've treated his character as someone who is unconfident in his abilities at first, pushed, and then does it and more (with rinse and repeat)

You can only push Edgar so far until his nERD powA will take you down.

Another good episode, if a bit anti-climactic after the last two or three humdingers. So long Navi, which was expected but disappointing, because he had really turned into a great character since the family went on the run.

I do hope we don't layer *too* many extra conspirators on to the layers we've got. They've been at a good level thus far.

And hey, how about some more training for those CTU security details. I think this is the third we've seen conked out this year. Clone Tony, give all the clones 4 arms, come on people.

But there is some irony in that Curtis looks to get tortured...

IMDB lists the start year and current year of an active show. It doesn't mean anything to the future of the show.
