Downhome 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 WM is what, three hours or so? There is more than enough time on the card for Hogan/Rocky to work a single match.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 just gotta love those Slap Dash Matches thrown together in the last couple of months with no backstory and no point.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted January 13, 2005 Even if it's Rock/Hogan vs. McMahons, I'll still order. Makes more sense and will be more enjoyable than several meaingless matches. For example like last years show: Stick a Tag Title match on Heat like at WM XIX if they are hell bent on making room, take out any women match that is NOT needed (Womens Title only), and just trim 2 minutes from every 20+ minute match, then you can easily stick the match on a show. Angle-plex 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 I like putting Austin in there so we get our Hogan/Austin stuff but I really don't know about Flair/Austin. It wouldn't make any sense. Maybe Austin and a newer guy..Benjamin? He did that segment with him on Raw before he beat Triple H...that was the last time Austin was on the show... Hogan, Rock Austin, Benjamin... Which one doesn't belong? Hogan/Austin vs Flair/Rock would be better. As would Hogan/Rock vs JBL/Heel turned Big Show.
Jingus 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 What about Hogan & Flair vs. Rock & Foley? There's a money match just begging to happen, with all the controversy over Flair's book, plus yet another Rock-n-Sock reunion is always fun.
Guest Fook Report post Posted January 13, 2005 It seems they might be leading to Hassan/Foley so Hassan can get a big win.

Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted January 13, 2005 Austin is in no condition to wrestle methinks. Even the simplest of bumps hurt him these days, which he has mentioned several times in interviews. Hogan vs. Flair at Wrestlemania should've happend at WM VIII, and should happen at least once on a WWE PPV, and what better of a show than Wrestlemania XXI? Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 What about Orton/Hogan? They could just do Batista/Triple H straight up in the main event, and in the build to WM, have Orton growing frustrated at his inability to capture the belt again. Then Hogan comes in and "rains on his parade" by getting all the attention on him again, so Orton goes into Legend Killer mode again, punks Hogan out, and gets a match with him at WM. This could set up Randy/Batista as a title feud down the line, with Batista playing monster face and Orton the cocky heel who knows his weak points.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 Actually I'd like to see Orton turn back heel and go after the Undertaker (The ultimate form of killing a legend if he was able to end the streak) if he couldn't get a match with The Rock or an interpromotional match with Cena. Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 That Orton/Undertaker idea is a good one, but I have a feeling we won't see that until the draft lottery '05, where tentative plans have Orton being switched to SD!

Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted January 13, 2005 Austin is in no condition to wrestle methinks. Even the simplest of bumps hurt him these days, which he has mentioned several times in interviews. Hogan vs. Flair at Wrestlemania should've happend at WM VIII, and should happen at least once on a WWE PPV, and what better of a show than Wrestlemania XXI? Those two have worked about over 10 PPV matches although never for WWE; it'd be a waste of a apperence for hogan to go over for the 103rd time. Hogan/JBL wouldn't be too bad as long as it's not for the title and it's too late now unless they put the title on Angle and do Angle/Cena. I dont want Angle with the title again though; as stale as he is now and how meaningless this reign would be but the match would be better and if Hogan must be used...let him put over or job out JBL instead. Rock/Orton; I've been screaming for it for some time now. It's perfect for all parties. Rock can have fun; WWE gets Rock in a high profile match for mania and in hollywood to boot; gets their golden boy another big time rub. Rock gets the statisfaction knowing that unlike his efforts with Jericho; Booker and Hurricane that Orton's rub won't be squealched by HHH. I'd also have Undertaker Vs Chris Benoit with the premise that Paul Heyman after Heidenreich fails to eliminate the dead man mainipulated Long to make a trade for Chris Benoit by sending them The Big Show in return(it wouldn't matter sense the draft is coming up and I'd just have TBS in the interpromotional tag match anyways so it wouldn't effect things). Why would Heyman want to bring Benoit in? Benoit's the crippler. Simple as that. He hates him but knows if he brings Benoit over; he can do what he's been wanting to do for a long time. Benoit with his pride wont give a shit about Heyman but will want to take the taker because thats who he is. Which would basically give us Batistia/HHH for the title; which if anything I wont care. This would be the card Batistia/HHH World Title Cena/Angle WWE Title Hollywood Hogan/JBL Rock/Orton (special guest ref-Mick Foley) Edge/Shawn Benoit/Taker Jericho/Eddy Guerrero (special interpromotional match...basically long and bischoff make a challenge that each will offer their "best" wrestler in a battle of who's better) RVD and Mysterio (Assuming RVD is back from his potential surgery in time)/Dudleyz(still better workers then Bashams or Angle's boys) WWE Tag Eugene and Regal (eugene returns here)/Christian and Tomko World Tag Shelton Benjamin/Muhammad Hassan IC Title Kidman/London/Chavo/Akio/Super Crazy/Moore Six Pac Challenge CW Title 24 man interpromotional battle royal No woman's match. who really cares for Victoria/Trish Pt. 466. Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted January 13, 2005 As long as the 24-Man Battle Royale doesn't open the show (what death...), that looks like I card I'd glady order with no questions asked... except for Cena fighting for a World Title so soon (unless he jobs). Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted January 13, 2005 Rock really didn't do much in favor of Booker. He refused to put him over because he knew Hunter was going to squash him, so it was pointless. Rock "put over" Hurricane instead, and ironically, a few weeks later, Hurricane is squashed by Triple H to open an episode of Raw.
