Quite possibly the worst essay ever written

This quite possibly couldn't have been done in a serious manner, but the fact that it was turned in and graded was kind of funny.

Already saw this in the other thread, but as for the 'it can't add up to a 61' I thought that too, then I figured it's a 61%, and the paper was probabl worth more then 100 points.

In the version which must have been the favorite of Sophocles's Athenian audience, Oedipus found sanctuary at Colonus, outside of Athens. The kindness he was shown at the end made the city itself blessed. Which is the gayest ending ever. The greeks invented anal lube. This is my conclusion. The end.

That was honestly one of the funniest things I've ever read. I especially liked that Lou Gehrig and Dr. Dre were both central enough to the story of Oedipus to warrant their own picture. And if that essay's passing, I'd hate to see what it takes to fail at that school.

I call bullshit. Look at the "teacher's" handwriting- it looks like a 5th grader's handwriting. Not to mention the fact that the teacher used the wrong form of "too". Finally, there's no way a teacher would grade this all the way through, and certainly no way this would receive 61 points, even if it was out of 1000.

a lot of colleges will technically pass you with a D, but you don't get the course credit unless you get a C or higher.
