BifEverchad 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2005 I've started my game of EWR and I'm in about 2 or 3 weeks. I pull off average shows, with typical booking and the like, but the one thing keeps bothering me. I keep getting messages saying that SpikeTV or UPN are worried about the risky nature of the shows. How do I change that? Is there an actual option somewhere to modify the risk factor or do I book some regular plain old school wrestling matches to tone it down? Hmm? Also, how do I boast morale for some of my guys? (ie) Jericho at 14% morale.
The Ill One 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2005 Well it's a little bit of both for the risk factor- mostly just lower the risk factor with the options of the button of "-federation name here-" and then for morale, push him, depends. That's some low morale.
the max 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2005 If Jericho's been losing a lot lately, his morale will be effected and he'll put out another crappy cd.
Dr. Zoidberg 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2005 To change the risk factor, you click on your name, which should be on the booking sheet thing, and it gives you an option to lower or raise your risk. and to boost morale? I always just had the person either go over a bigger guy or push him up the card. That usually works. If you want to do it the rad way, though, which is slightly harder, you can get him into a long-term feud that always remains equal (for example, A attacks B in the back, in turn, B runs into A's match, costing A said match). When you finally do have the big blow-off match, have the wrestler with the lowest morale win. Both will get over huge if done correctly, and morale will raise. BifEverchad 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2005 Cool. Thanks guys. But as far as Jericho goes, I have him in a World Heavyweight Title feud with Triple H (is that why?!?) and he's getting top bookings. I also released Ultimo Dragon last week and his morale fell hard following that. Anyways, I'll try..
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2005 Look at Jericho's relationships and, if you can, sign up those with good relationships (friendship, loyalty, love) with him. Even if it's just as jobbers, you should get a message from him that he's pleased you signed whoever and his morale should rise a little. That's the quick way out, but I'm not sure if it's a long-term solution.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2005 Morale that low is always a pain to fix. The best quick fix solution is hiring good friends, firing people he doesn't like (you can always give monster pushes to others to fill in the holes), booking him well (he loses, but he's featured as top billing), and if his been busting his ass off you might want to check if his health is lower than 70 (which you then give some time for him to heal up his wounds). As for the risk, simply lower the risk as was suggested. If you are WWE though and Jericho's down to 14, you probably are going to lose him. Most guys that slip that low in the WWE are hard to recover back to decent morale and usually (but not always) will ditch you, in my experience anyways. Because his morale is 14, if he's in contract negotiation time, you pretty much are gonna have an uphill struggle to sign him. Just so you know.
Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted January 19, 2005 If you're willing to cheat, you can easily raise Jericho's morale. First, create a new folder and name it something like "Jericho morale." Cut the files in the Data folder and paste them in the "Jericho" folder. Next, cut and paste the files from your current game (if it's saved in the first slot, it'll be in folder s1, second slot = s2, etc) into the Data folder. Start the game and go to file editor. Go into workers and select Chris Jericho. Click on "edit employment details." Go to "position" and change it to jobber, then exit the game. Cut the files in the Data folder, and paste it back into the original save folder (ex: if the files were in s1, paste the files back into folder s1). Go to the "Jericho" folder that you created earlier, cut the original data files and paste them back into the Data folder. Delete the "Jericho folder," which should now be empty. Start your game like normal. Jericho should be at jobber, with his morale still at 14. Promote him to main eventer and his morale should shoot back up. Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2005 If you're willing to cheat, you can easily raise Jericho's morale. I do believe he was trying not to cheat. And I don't support your idea, because there is a possibility of it not running properly. So a word of a caution before attempting to do that. Also, if he's wanting to cheat that badly, he should just use the Arsenic Editor.

If you're booking Jericho against guys like Goldberg and HHH (assuming you have the default relationships), his morale will drop pretty easily.
