Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 Both Kane and Gene Snitsky were motionless as Monday Night RAW went off the air last week. The destruction happened as a result of a Kane chokeslam onto Snitsky from the top of the RAW stage onto the arena floor. What is the condition of these two RAW Superstars? Will either one of them ever be the same again? Tune in to RAW to find out. Also, former Evolution teammates Randy Orton and the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair will square off in one-on-one action. Undoubtedly, Flair will be looking to soften Orton up for Triple H, as RAW is just days before the World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. Will Batista attempt to qualify for the Royal Rumble on Monday Night RAW? The offer is there if he wants it. However, the big man of Evolution is thinking it over first, as Triple H asked him not to act selfish by attempting to be in the Royal Rumble. Rather, Triple H claims, Evolution should focus all of their attention on walking out of the pay-per-view with the same World Heavyweight Championship they are walking in with. And with nine RAW Superstars still to be named to the Royal Rumble match who else will get a chance to qualify and potentially headline WrestleMania? Tune in to Monday Night RAW on Spike TV (9/8 CT) to find out. ------------------ The final raw before The Royal Rumble. Batistia's gonna get himself in the rumble and so will a few others. Maybe Jericho and Benoit dicuss their finish last week or will it be forgotten already? What wacky stuff will Hassan do this week? Who knows!? Don't You dare post here during the show itself though or bad things will happen to your beloved dog. Save your Dog.
Guest Coffey Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 I'll be watching for Batista and Hussan. Those are the highlights for me nowadays. I'll be happy if they do a Gene Snitsky injury angle to get him off of TV. I sure as shit don't want him at Wrestlemania. When are Matt Hardy & Mark Henry supposed to be back?
RavishingRickRudo Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 They need to position Hassan with Christian and Rosie. And possibly Grenier and Kenzo. Actually, definitely Kenzo. DREAM TEAM. MOTHAFUUKKAAZZ.
Guest jumpingbombangel Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 I will only watch Raw for Batista. Batista, Batista, Batista. Why? I read this house show report from last night in Tulsa and fell in luv. (7) Batista defeated Chris Jericho. Let me say this, Batista is way over. The crowd ERUPTED when he came to the ring, and in fact he smiled when he heard the roar. Y2J got just the same response, so still the crowd is hot. If you remember the WWE show Confidential, you'll remember the "Sign Guy". He dressed up as some fitness trainer, not Simon dean, and attempted to flex towards Batista. Batista flexed back, and not only did the Sign Guy get showed up, but Batista made the girls in the crowd cheer. Y2J played towards the Sign Guy and said "What were you thinking?" -The match itself was fairly decent. I encourage everyone to watch Batista wrestle if they get the chance. He's definitely going to be big, I wouldn't doubt he's the future of this company. There were quite a few close 10 counts, but the end came when Y2J got sit out bombed, is that Batista's finisher name?, twice. Batista won and the crowd erupted. He was playing towards them huge. He then came down the entrance side and looked like he was going to get sick. Then he headed towards my side of the security rail and act like he was going to throw up on some kid, looked at him, and smiled. Before he went to the back, did his taunt for the crowd to erupt again. Y2J, got up and left to a standing ovation from everyone. This was definitely the match of the night. Help me, Big Dave Batista. You are my only hope.

Matt Hardy's already 100+% as he did a televised local show this weekend...which I thought was kind of odd. :/ In fact, gonna start a thread about it. But he pretty much said he'd be back in the next few weeks. My guess is at, or right after, the Rumble. (They might hold it off until after WM though, because they probaly aren't just gonna put him in a match)
Guest DeathBecomesYou Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Batista is just about the only thing worth watching on Raw nowadays. Him and Molly, actually I want to see Molly on TV because apparently she did the impossible at a house show on the weekend by making Christy Hemme entertaining. If Molly can make Christy entertaining, she deserves to be on TV.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Prediction: Batista pins Val Venis in a Rumble qualifying match.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 I'd like to imagine Trips tries to get Batistia a tougher match then Val fucking Venis. But who's left? The Viscera match should have been the qualifying match.
slimm44 Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Don't forget the best part It's Jim Ross Night as RAW comes from Oklahoma
Guest jumpingbombangel Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Batista is just about the only thing worth watching on Raw nowadays. Him and Molly, actually I want to see Molly on TV because apparently she did the impossible at a house show on the weekend by making Christy Hemme entertaining. If Molly can make Christy entertaining, she deserves to be on TV. Yes, she did! Same show from last night (Tulsa): (5) Swimsuit Contest: Molly Holly declared winner by The Coach (obviously though Christy Hemme won). The Coach comes out, and gets heat by the crowd for reminiscing of the Orange Bowl/Sooners. Great coach, get a bunch of drunk rednecks angry about their football team, smart. Then the ladies come out, first Christy with a robe to cover her suit. She's very energetic running around the ring. Then out comes Molly, who does her "I'm not going to expose my body" attitude. We're explained the winner is who receives the most cheers. First Christy. Wearing 2-piece bikini, prances around the ring, and does her leg lift and down to the splits... ouch. Next, Molly who's wearing a shirt that has a slim body in a bikini on it, think those ridiculous T-Shirt Tuxs, only the taken women cheer. They do the bit of who wins, and the coach declares Molly. As coach hugs Molly Holly, christy goes behind coach to give him a low blow. Molly is so counter-WWE-culture she needs her own show. It is too great to see her holding her ground as the "modest" Diva while Christy Hemme(th-user) does the same old routine.
Precious Roy Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Hey, they're in Ok. City, anyone else expecting tasteless comments from Hassan and Davari about how everyone immediately suspected muslim terrorists to be behind the bombing of the federal building?
Precious Roy Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Oh, and of course we'll get the requisite hometown angle or match for JR....
iggymcfly Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 I wish that just one year, they'd try to make a believable story for more than one person to win the Royal Rumble. Every year, it's hard for one person to get in, and it's a question whether they'll make it while the other main eventers are lucky to get a 30 second promo saying that they want to win.
Precious Roy Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 HBK/Jericho/Benoit v. Edge/Christian/Tomko, this should be a good match as long as they keep Tomko's involvment to a minimum.
yankovic fan Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Well I think we all expected someone to interrupt the JR thing, but I figured someone other than HHH... Ok maybe not but I was hopeful.
therealworldschampion Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Haha the obligiatory USC-OU joke.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 This HHH promo is fucking great!
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Stacy heel turn at Rumble. Becomes the "Woman NWA/WCW" female valet of Evolution.
razazteca Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 What was the point in the Viscera vs Tajiri match? Why could'nt that be one of the last minute Heat matches?
Guest Mosaicv2 Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Viscera looks like one of those aliens on V.
The Mandarin Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Danny Hodge jumping over the top rope was SHOCKING. Then, the segment that followed was absolutely hilarious as was the look of Batista's face in the locker room. Oh my God! Tajiri and Regal together again!
Guest netslob Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 that bitch, no-selling Regal's advances like that. tart, indeed.
Guest netslob Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 and Big Dave proves, once again, just how fucking cool he is.
starvenger Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 that bitch, no-selling Regal's advances like that. tart, indeed. That was an awesome "rejection face" though...
Guest thebigjig Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 I'm watching RAW for the first time in months, and I gotta say... I'm rather impressed with things. WWE is doing a surprisingly great job with the Batista push. If they would do this right everytime, perhaps I wouldn't go three months without watching
Guest netslob Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 christ, what's with all the wrestlers with shaved heads? Venis, Big Show, Angle, Tomko. i'm starting to not feel unique anymore.
Guest Mosaicv2 Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 oh... here's the Rodney Harrison look-a-like Maven
Guest netslob Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 shit, add Kane and Maven to my above list.
