Guest Phenom Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 HOLY CRAP! IT'S THE BIG TWO! EDIT: Which one is Luger and which one is Hart?
Big McLargeHuge Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Crowd picked Cena by the sounds of it. It could go either way. Marginally. It really is split.
ChrisMWaters Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Vince McMahon here, and he looks pissed. One's a Raw guy, One's a Smackdown guy. So just have them both get their respective matches.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Batista wins after the restart
ChrisMWaters Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Well, Batista wins due to the match being restarted.
DerangedHermit Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 BIG FAT FUCKING DAVE BABY~! Too predictable.
Big McLargeHuge Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Did they just book the finish on the spot? Hell, the 94 RR finish makes more sense here than it did back then, with the brand split.
Downhome Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Did Vince hurt his leg getting in the ring or what?
LooseCannon25 Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Did Vince hurt his leg getting in the ring or what? Looks like Vince fucked up his knee getting in the ring.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 I liked how they didn't show a replay since it was obvious Batista hit the ground first
Repo Man jr Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Did Vince hurt his leg getting in the ring or what? Yep it looked like it and he just kept going by sitting down. Looked like he fucked his knee up
ChrisMWaters Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 ...damn, 83 people in this thread. That's a record. Now the question is, what will they do with the WWE Title Match? Will Cena still earn a way in? Another competitor to enter?
JoeDirt Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 I really enjoyed the show, though there was some weirdness. Definitely look like Vince hurt his knee, he just sat against the ropes. I was pissed thinking it was a RR94 finish, but at least that wasn't the case. Fun show, and a fun Rumble with a lot of cool spots. Easy MVP for the Rumble is Mysterio, who worked his ass off the whole time.
The Czech Republic Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 It's kind of sad when the thread subtitle accurately predicts the finish.

Will Cena still earn a way in? Another competitor to enter? It's easier for them to decide that since they have a PPV before Wrestlemania. They can do a match like last year.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 That was a fantastic rumble match. The rest of the card was eh but Benoit going 50 minutes was great, Rey was fantastic and it had NO slow points. Better then last years.
Guest Phenom Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 I smell a 'Tista/Cena feud in the future.
CanadianChick Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 So from what I've read, Benoit, Mysterio and Edge all lasted a while. Any other iron men? And was London's elimination sick?
Lt. Al Giardello Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 This was a crazy Rumble. Cena really won the Rumble, was you can see his 1 foot landed on Batista's back not the floor. Still man, this was the best Rumble I think. Perfect way to set up Angle/HBK also.
Adam Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Loved the show. The undercard was better than I thought, and the Rumble was awesome. Loved the finish, laughed at Vince fucking his knee. DAVE~! DAVE~! DDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVVVVVEEEEEE~!~!~!
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 That was a fantastic rumble match. The rest of the card was eh but Benoit going 50 minutes was great, Rey was fantastic and it had NO slow points. Better then last years. Highlights +Benoit and Eddy #1 and #2 +Puder geting raped by the Old timers Benoit, Eddy and Holly +Benoit going 50 minutes +Edge going 44 minutes +Rey going 40 minutes +The Raw Vs SD staredown +Hassan getting beat down by the entire ring +Shawn and Angle's Interaction +Rey's 8284 Skinning the cat spots +Coach lasting as long as he did +Cena single handedly fliping Tistia over +Batistia's Pop +London's Suicidal Bump. +Rey lasting to the final four +Vince fucking his knee up Low Lights +Just the Rumble 1994 finish but it was thankfully restarted.
Lt. Al Giardello Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 And was London's elimination sick? Best. Rumble Elimnation. Ever!
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Amazingly it should be pointed out that Edge wrestled about 60 minutes tonight, 20 for the match with Shawn and 44 minutes in the rumble.
CanadianChick Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 And was London's elimination sick? Best. Rumble Elimnation. Ever! What was it on the TAKA scale?
