kkktookmybabyaway Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 What I don't get is how the NFL and Fox decided not to air that Bud Light commercial that's on their website (the one alluding to the Breast-That-Launched-1000-Censors but didn't have any nudity or even a hint of "indecency") but did choose to air this one I don't think they "banned" Bud Light from airing the commercial; I think they "encouraged" Bud Light not to. That retarded web site ad probably doesn't have as much of a close-knit relationship with the NFL and Fox...

I have to say that I don't really remember any ads from the second half of the game though. In fact, it took me about ten minutes this morning to remember the final score.

The ones with the chimps were also good for a laugh. And I guarentee that BadDaddy.com got a million hits for the commercial alone. Hell, even I wanted to check it out even though they said what the site was all about on the commercial.

MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Now that the entire game is over, I can say that the best commercial was the Ameritrade commercial with the spilled pasta sauce, the knife, and the cat. Brilliant. The other one with the guy on the cellphone saying "You're getting robbed" in a convenience store and then the clerk jumping the counter and whacking him with a baseball bat was funnier. The sad thing is, with both of them, I really didn't remember what they were promoting until you just mentioned it. Neither had much to do with online stock trading..

So what they were the funniest SB commercials in years, not even Terry Tate had me laughing like this. Its been forever since a TV commercial made me laugh until I cried let alone two.

Jericholic82 Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 I didnt see all of the commercials, cuz hey sometimes you gotta pee. and besides, I was channel flipping a bit also during the game when it got boring (likemost of the first half) I didnt watch the whole sb game for the first time since 99 (falcons vs broncos) anyhow I enjoyed the commercial with the celebrities shrinking themselves (mini kid rock and mini shaq were pretty funny) that had to do with some cell phone company that will allow streaming video
