I was watching the Goobacks episode of south park and at first I thought it would be ripping on Terminator but then I realized they were actually ripping on Immigrants. I live in Dominican Republic so I don't know much about U.S.A but it seems to me like people from every country are moving to the states this days and taking jobs from americans. I know most americans were Immigrants to begin with but I don't think it was as bad as it is nowadays with all those illegal Immigrants. Not only that but most of those immigrants refuse to learn english..if your going to move to a country you might as well learn the damn language, I don't live in U.S and I still learned it...but I'm not going to go on a rant here I just wanna know if americans are as disgusted by this as I am? The issue does come from illegal immigrants and the people in the states that hire them for cheap labor. Also there are a bunch of pussies that think it would be bad for us to toss the illegals back across the border. Hell, wasn't there a place that got in trouble for driving the illegals away from where they crossed and then putting them across the border as it was too harsh? These are the same people who think we should have pockets of water in the desert incase a Mexican gets dehydrated while trying to enter our country illegally. Tenants of the Sister's Motel in Northeast El Paso were woken up Sunday morning by the number of border patrol units and police at the scene. Charlie Molina- Northeast El Paso, "I was going to get the Sunday newspaper and I usually pass here and I saw 8 border patrol vehicles and five city police vehicles." Wilson, "We open our door and we saw a few people being led to the cars." The spokesman for Border Patrol, Doug Mosier confirmed 26 illegal immigrants believed to be from Mexico were found in one of the rooms at the Sister's Motel. Molina, "It really doesn't surprise me especially in this area there are elements where people could find stash houses or houses for housing illegal immigrants." Mosier says the group included 24 men, one woman and a male juvenile. The Sister's Motel manager told KFOX the room is only a two bed unit. She said she had no way of knowing there were 26 people there. She says a man check in a couple of days ago and said the room was for four people. Mosier says agents are still investigating if someone smuggled in the immigrants. Molina, "Those people the coyotes should be prosecuted. As far as the innocent people found if they come from different countries they should be advised as their whereabouts and due process should be given to them." The undocumented immigrants are being held at the Border Patrol processing center. The office of the Mexican Consulate will be contacted because there's a juvenile in the group. Another problem, which was mentioned earlier, is immigrants not wanting to assimilate into American culture. It's great if you want to keep many traditions and customs of your home country, but if you don't bother to learn English then you put yourself and others at risk. I can say this, Atlanta has a huge illegal immigrant population, and a big homelessness problem, yet I have yet to see one Mexican begging for change. You see a shit load of day workers, but not one has ever asked me for money when walking by. That means more to me than a Green card. if you are willing to work, go for it.
