Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted February 21, 2005 This was horrible news to see tonight. HST has been a role model to me (save the jokes) for close to7 years and his passing is truly sad. I can't believe he ended up killing himself, but it was his choice to we should respect that. Rest in peace Hunter and my prayers go out to his family. Jingus 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2005 It's my fault. I glanced at a the DVD of Fear and Loathing today in Blockbuster and considered renting it. Nice to know my Touch Of Death is still in proper working condition, I got worried when the last few days went by without any catastrophes.

Special K 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2005 Shit he'll be missed. I can't believe he took his own life. Hopefully he's eternally kickin' it with Bukowski. RIP. Drugs lead inevitably to bad things, guys.
dpac 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2005 Wonder what the motive was. Just heard him being talked about on on a radio during the Super Bowl, and he seemed to be in good spirits. They were also interviewing XSports Athletes and they were all saying he is a god among them, Real big sports fan, just odd that this happened.... Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2005 I thought he was a better short-form journalist than writer of long works. Love some of his old Rolling Stone stuff. Iconic for sure, saying amusing or worthwhile things 7 times out of 10. Seeya.
