Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Well I was wondering when he'd be back.

Guest Quik Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Remember that episode of Roseanne where D.J. didn't want to make out with the black girl in the school play, prompting big fat Roseanne to call him a bigot? Yeah, this thread is just as compelling.
Guest Mosaicv2 Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Is that chain... plastic? Bitches make me wonder... damn!
Bruiser Chong Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Deon makes me long for the days of logging on to the forums and reading 38 Choken One posts.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Remember that episode of Roseanne where D.J. didn't want to make out with the black girl in the school play, prompting big fat Roseanne to call him a bigot? Yeah, this thread is just as compelling. I actually remember that episode... *backs away slowly*
kkktookmybabyaway Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Me, too. I'm pretty sure at the end of the show the black kid's dad tried to come into Roseanne's eatery to talk with her about DJ, but Rosie and Jackie didn't let him in because it was night, the store was closed, and the guy was BLACK, thus making Roseanne ponder what a hypocritical white devil she was...
Guest Flyboy Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 That's exactly how the show ended. What a bunch of fucking losers we are.
Guest Quik Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 I think the funniest part about that ending is that Roseanne and Jackie had no fear of being raped.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 It was black cock -- what do you expect? They'd take it willing.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 That's exactly how the show ended. What a bunch of fucking losers we are. Why? That's the shit we grew up with. Now you may have your street cred damaged by knowing this, but not only do I have my ghetto pass, but I just re-newed my dopey white guy membership card so I'm good...
Guest BrokenWings Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Remember that episode of Roseanne where D.J. didn't want to make out with the black girl in the school play, prompting big fat Roseanne to call him a bigot? Yeah, this thread is just as compelling. I saw Roseanne for a few seconds on Entertainment Tonight last night. Time has certainly ravaged her.

Yeah, this thread is just as compelling. I saw Roseanne for a few seconds on Entertainment Tonight last night. Time has certainly ravaged her. Yeah, she looked so much better before.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Now you may have your street cred damaged by knowing this, but not only do I have my ghetto pass, but I just re-newed my dopey white guy membership card so I'm good... Blame Nick at Nite.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 I think the funniest part about that ending is that Roseanne and Jackie had no fear of being raped. Quality post. Seriously.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Now you may have your street cred damaged by knowing this, but not only do I have my ghetto pass, but I just re-newed my dopey white guy membership card so I'm good... Blame Nick at Nite. I miss the old Nick at Nite, when they showed Car 54 and Mr. Ed...
Ripper Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Yeah, Nick at Nite shows shit that I saw growing up now, which just makes it less fun and makes me feel older. Car 54 where are you marathons use to rule.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 I miss the F-Troop and Get Smart block.
Ripper Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 I loved get smart until he married 99. I couldn't watch any longer.
Art Sandusky Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Randy Savage is scary now, and not in the good wrestler way.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Car 54 where are you marathons use to rule. I loved the opening credits where it showed Toddy and Muldoon (sorry for butchering the spelling) doing something zany in the car. My favorite was when Toddy handcuffs himself to Muldoon...
Guest Failed Mascot Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 The movie version of the show was absolutely terrible.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 The movie version of a lot of shows are terrible -- I will not taint the TV show of Car 54 by even thinking that a movie version exists...
Ted the Poster Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 BUSTER POINDEXTER! BUSTER POINDEXTER! BUSTER POINDEXTER! I still feel bad for McGinley though. He was in Red O'Neill in Platoon, which is how I prefer to think of him.
Bruiser Chong Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 I grew up on Nick-at-Nite. When I got into it, they were airing shows like Mr. Ed, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Dobie Gillis, Get Smart, Green Acres, F-Troop and even the occassional late-night SNL or Looney Tunes. The network was quality up until the mid-90s when they started to just import more crap from the late '70s like Maude.
