Ages of wrestlers

It's kind of sad that when you look at the current ME scene in WWE that the only guy under 30 is John Cena and he's the worst worker of the bunch. Yes, he's worse than JBL and Batista. Cena is the absolute shits in the ring. The other guys at least play their role fairly well.

Randy Orton's under 30, and yes I'm considering him a Main Eventer.

Why would you consider him a Main Eventer? I realize that he was in the title match at RR but he's really just an upper mid-carder at this point. I don't consider Benoit or Jericho main eventers anymore because they aren't and neitehr is Orton. I'd bet money that Orton will be a ME player in the next year or so if he is moved to SD!, but now he's in a cobbled together feud with Taker that contradicts his own gimmick. He's supposed to be the Legend Killer, his Legend Killer gimmick spat in Harley Race's face and RKO'ed every other old guy they put in front of him, yet he stands in the ring and talks about respecting Taker? It makes no sense. Orton shouldn't respect anything or anybody. He should also start treating Stacy like shit. The guy needs to be a total dick to get this over. If he continues to straddle the fence his gimmick will fail.

I dont think Jesus Aguilera is 29. He was born on Feb 29 and that's about all I ever came upon when reading bios on him, unless you gotta strong source.

Garrison Cade is also young, 25 or so.

Source could be wrong. Makes sense to me. I'll update.

Cheers.

According to IMDB.com I was right about Lilian:

Lilián García

Date of birth (location)

19 August 1966

Florence, South Carolina, USA

That makes her 38, which seems to be about right.

Again, sounds reasonable. Thanks.

I don't think there's any way that Akio is 23. He's gotta be a couple years older than that.

I thought he debuted when he was 18, think that was in an interview somewhere. Seems to fit.

Cheers.

I thought she was older. I mean, like 26 - 28 range. I thought Joy Giovanni was younger than Jackie G too but I guess not.

I can't believe Christy is only 24 either, she looks at least 3-4 years older. I've found that most of the women look younger when they are not wearing layers of makeup on their face.

and yet Abdullah the butcher got at least 20 years on Flair and 30 + on everyone next in line, still impaling people with forks and wrestling in his 70's

18?

Just yesterday I watched WCW Night of Champions (Last Nitro) and that was in the beginning of 2001. 4 years ago. And I'm sure he (and the other dragons too) were in WCW for longer then a year. So I would guess that's not correct..

Edit- ok maybe I was wrong.

Harvey Wippleman is only 37? He's been around for at least 16 years, which means he debuted at 20-21? Damn he's a young manager.

I was thinking the same thing. That means he was like 24 when he managed Sid at the main event for WrestleMania 8. I always thought he was at least in his 30's back then.

What's his current position nowadays anyway? He doesn't pop up much anymore, it'd be nice if they utilizied him as a manager again for some of the lower card heels.

I thought Regal was younger than 39...guess I was wronger, or I've lost track of time.

He was in his late twenties when he started with WCW in mid-93.

Cheers.

Cool topic, Thanks for the info guys.

I wasnt sure if Trsih was 29, cuz I have an old WOW mag that listed her date of birth as 12-16-76(which would be exactly 6 years and one day before me), I guess they were off by a year.

Any wrestlers born on 12-17?

How could you forget Randy Orton.

I swear to god, every other post in the WWE forum over the last few weeks has been about him.

Edit: Didn't see page 2 of the thread. He's certainly a main eventer though. He main evented at Summerslam, Unforgiven, Taboo Tuesday, New Year's Revolution, and Royal Rumble, and he's in one of the four super-hyped matches for Wrestlemania. I'd actually consider him more established as a main eventer than Cena at this point.
