Someone to buy Wrestlecrap?

Recommended Posts

"Shew, what a crazy past couple of weeks I've had. In fact, crazy is an understatement - things have been downright surreal.

As most of you probably noticed, I was unable to update last week. This week has been every bit as insane, but fortunately, I have been able to at least cobble together some new stuff here and there on the site (although this portion of the site is definitely getting the shaft due to my total lack of free time).

Although I can't go into all the details, basically what has happened is that a party has made the offer to buy WrestleCrap, lock, stock, and barrel. When I was first contacted, I was totally convinced this was a rib, especially considering just who it is that is interested in buying it. Amazingly, though, it's not. And the amount of money being offered is quite frankly insane.

The question I am struggling with right now is whether or not I could live with myself by "selling out" to this person.

I apologize in advance if our updates get sporadic in the near future.

I've got a lot of thinking to do..."

Could it be Vince?

I'm pulling for an April Fools joke, I've loved that site for 5 years now and don't want to lose it :(

If it's true... it's got to be Vince McMahon, or someone really important in Wrestling.

Or it could be a shitty April Fool's Joke.

It's gotta be Russo or Vinnie Mac, if it's not a joke.

I was hoping it would be someone who would be able to fully maintain the ENTIRE Wrestlecrap archive, and not just a certain week's updates.

Because Vince really cares about some shitty site.

Actually Vince tried to go after the site shortly after WCW closed down.

I could see Jarrett buying different wrestling sites to shill TNA. As for Vince? It just seems like he's got better things to do.

Just a quick question:

Are people still posting their theories (about who'd be doing what) in the slim chance that this isn't an April Fool's hoax? Or do people think that someone would really pay big money for that web site?!?

Maybe someone who is really insecure about themselves and is mad about RD's constant insults...

Ed Leslie is buying Wrestlecrap!

This Friday, Wrestle Crap will have pictures of Triple H and Stephanie on top of the page, articles about how good they are, tons of Nipple H jokes, and then next week RD will brag about how he got us all. That's all that is happening.
