A close second is his monochromatic get-up when he made his excersion to SD! a few weeks back (then again his orange tie, pin striped thing he had on last RAW was awful kick ass too). I can't find any pictures else I'd show them, but we're all pretty familiar with them. He just doesn't have the same aura in wrestling tights. I can kind of see it this time though, because from a character standpoint, he had to know that something was going to end up happening with HHH, and he probably figured he'd be better off going out there dressed to fight. Of all the absurd trends this folder has seen, I gotta say one of the biggest and weirdest is fawning over a large ripped man in a purple pinstriped suit. Is this some deep-seated psychological issue because you only wear an old nWo Wolfpac shirt from 1998 and envy the fashion sense assigned to him by the wardrobe department? Or do you just wanna jump the guy. First of all, it doesn't make much sense for him OR Orton to still dress well as part of their character, since that's a distinct and obvious Evolution holdover. How are they distancing themselves from Hunter and Flair? Everyone's going at it in expensive suits and sunglasses, and there's no difference between anyone. And speaking of Orton, God forbid Batista starts assaulting and harassing women while nicely dressed, or you guys are gonna collectively shoot off enough semen to fill a kiddie pool or two. How stupid is it to like a guy because he dresses up for wrestling shows? He's really nothing special otherwise. It's a silly thing to obsess over to simply justify liking him for the sake of seeing Triple H lose, who is more entertaining than Batista on the canvas and the microphone, even at his slackingest. To say it's all the suits is completely trivializing the WWE's biggest success story in years. Yes, I have been watching the last few months and yes Batista does have a certain degree of charisma, John Cena has more and he doen't get drooled over on the board. Both guys are crappy workers (although Cena is better) and Cena is a much much better talker. Cena has more talent, doesn't wear a suit doesn't get any love. Batista has less talent, wears a suit and half the board has a wet dream about him. Cena got over on his own, Batista had the #1 guy in the company as his mentor and then gets to beat him up. Cena has been getting bigger pops than Batista is getting now for well over a year. Cena is still over despite doing a ton of jobs in the past two years, Batista is has been over for 3 months and hasn't done a clean job in a long long time. Two guys with roughly equal experieince and one is better than the other in everyway, yet the worse performer gets all the love. It comes down to the suit and nothing more. Batista has suceeded at nothing yet. He probably will draw a good buyrate at WM, but will see how long the drawing power lasts. He's not a success story either, he won't be one until he can prove that he can sustain his popularity and be a draw on his own merits. He's done neither of those things. I like Batista but saying that he's shown more Charisma than any face since The Rock is an outright joke. Eddie Geurrero at his height was more over than Batista is.
