ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2005 I'd only agree if they could find a way to keep the classic look from 4 and 5, only slightly updated for the video monitors. I mark for the steps.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2005 Geez it seems the only good LA crowd for mania was for wm7. what is with that? especially considering there is a large number of people from other states and countries attending. or maybe they were deflated cuz the lakers lost again lmao unforgiven 02 which i attended, had a much hotter crowd. Maybe the people were so into the matches they didnt feel like cheering? or can it be that because of huge tix prices that the fans there were fairweather wrestling nonfans who just are there cuz they have the dough? am I even making sense? Matt Young 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2005 How long did London last in the Battle Royal?... like was he in the final 7 or 8? Yeah. It was hard to keep up with all the eliminations, but I believe he was in the final 6. Also, when Viscera was eliminated, he wasn't catapulted as was said earlier. That wouldn't even be believable. Booker was dumped to the apron, Viscera got whipped toward the ropes, and Booker pulled the top rope down to eliminate him. I'll post more on the battle royal and the show as a whole after Raw is over.

Guest JRE Report post Posted April 5, 2005 Akio hit the steps hard when he was eliminated. After London was eliminated he tried dragging Akio back up the ramp by the feet....he gave up eventually but it was a very sweet gesture.
Guest Miss Indy Queen Report post Posted April 6, 2005 Just got some info, here's the confirmed list of Battle Royal participants. We're missing one from the Raw side which I'm guessing is Steven Richards though that's not confirmed. From Raw: - Simon Dean - William Regal - Yoshihiro Tajiri - La Resistance - Gene Snitsky - Hurricane - Rosey - Chris Masters - Viscera - Rhyno - Val Venis - Tyson Tomko - Maven From Smackdown: - Booker T (winner) - Paul London - Heidenreich - Spike Dudley - Nunzio - Sho Funaki - Doug Basham - Danny Basham - Orlando Jordan - Mark Jindrak - Luther Reigns - Scotty 2 Hotty - Hardcore Holly - Charlie Haas - Akio Steven Richards wasn't in LA at all for Wrestlemania so it wasn't him. Myself and about 5 friends sat at the hotel and made up this list (that's if you got this from pwinsider) and we were missing one from raw and one from smackdown but then realized Funaki was in it so that made the 15th guy. If anyone knows the 15th guy from Raw please let me know, b/c we sat there for a while trying to figure it out. The battle royal was also hard to follow because you had all the raw guys in red shirts and all the smackdown guys in blue shirts so it was definitely a distraction. Guest Shadow Report post Posted April 6, 2005 it was prolly a nameless indy guy they threw in there to make that 15th spot.
ISportsFan 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2005 - Simon Dean - William Regal - Yoshihiro Tajiri - La Resistance - Gene Snitsky - Hurricane - Rosey - Chris Masters - Viscera - Rhyno - Val Venis - Tyson Tomko - Maven The men from Raw on the actual WrestleMania card (in matches) were: - Triple H - Batista - Shawn Michaels - Randy Orton - Chris Benoit - Edge - Chris Jericho - Christian - Shelton Benjamin - Kane So, from the Raw superstars page on WWE.com, the other men that are left out are: - Chris Nowinski (injured nearly permanently) - Eric Bischoff (probably not) - Eugene (injured, showed up on the card) - Garrison Cade - Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross (probably not) - Jonathon Coachman - Khosrow Daivari (showed up on card) - Mark Henry (OVW still and hurt himself running the ropes) - Matt Hardy (hurt and Lita thing) - Muhammad Hussan (showed up on the card) - Ric Flair (managed HHH on PPV) - Steven Richards (already debunked) - Todd Grisham (yeah right) Not many candidates. Guest scapegoat Report post Posted April 6, 2005 I reckon a Montreal WM would be pretty awesome for crowd heat. I always look forward to Raw when its coming from Montreal, you never know what the crowd is going to do next.
