EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 7, 2005 Author Report Posted April 7, 2005 Tremendous start for Brett Myers. 6 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 Ks. Maybe this is the year he fulfills his potential. If so, the Phillies staff looks alot better right now.
MikeJordan23 Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 This MLB Extra Innings package is like baseball crack. I wish I could afford the real thing I can't but I still bought it. I don't care, I need to see all my Cardinals' games, not to mention, I got too use to it last year to go back. I just split up the payments in 4 installments...
The Czech Republic Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 White Sox are going to be in trouble this year when it comes to scoring runs. Big difference from last year, when it seemed like there was nobody in the lineup who wasn't hitting home runs. But yeah that is a cause of worry, because their rotation doesn't seem like it's leaps and bounds ahead of last year's.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 This O's game has been extremely disapointing. Being 1 hit by some guy I never heard of before through 5 innings.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 7, 2005 Author Report Posted April 7, 2005 Does it help if I've heard of him. This Phillies bullpen is quite disappointing so far.

I lucked out with TV coverage, with Over the Air games and games on Comcast Sports Net covering just about all the games for the Orioles this season The one thing that sucks about Extra Innings is that if you live in your favorite teams market, then EI is pointless for you unless you want to be able to watch other games because of local blackouts.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Does it help if I've heard of him. This Phillies bullpen is quite disappointing so far. im sure YOU'VE heard of him.. Sosa just missed a HR to CF.
Precious Roy Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Wasn't Sarloos somewhat of a hot prospect for Houston a couple years back...?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Gee. What happened to: A) O's powerful offense? 1 hit through 6 Inn B) O's great bullpen? Reed just gave up back to back HR
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 7, 2005 Author Report Posted April 7, 2005 Wasn't Sarloos somewhat of a hot prospect for Houston a couple years back...? Yes he was.
Guest Smues Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Brad Wilkerson hit for the cycle? A Washington National gets the first cycle of the season, didn't see that coming.
strummer Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Brad Wilkerson hits for the cycle Edit: Beat me to it Smues!
treble Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 He's done that before, too. Maybe last year or the year before.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 The Os now have 2! TWOOOOOOOOO! Hits.
Bored Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 You can't stop Kirk Saarloos you can only hope to contain him. Oh and Bobby Crosby is going to be out six weeks with a cracked rib. *throws chair*

Right. Also you don't get EVERY game if you're a fan of an out of town team, just the games on the FSN stations. But still, it's a tremendous thing.
Guest Smues Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Bah Franco tagged Encarnacion before he got back to the bag but the ump blew the call. If he's the.. Never mind he got thrown out stealing second.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 W-L Toronto 2-1 Boston 1-2 We only need to hold that lead for 159 more games. I can FEEL the playoffs baby.
Guest Smues Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 And the first extra innings game of the season is Atlanta vs. Florida. Atlanta is short two players because Giles and Estrada got hurt yesterday, so if this game goes into deep extra innings Atlanta is going to be in trouble.
Precious Roy Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 FUCK! I benched Wilkerson in The League of The Elite in favor of Travis Hafner. Hafner went 2/4 with an RBI, but still....
Bored Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Huston Street made his MLB debut. A bit shaky but he struck out Sammy Sosa to end the inning. Nick Swisher with two homeruns tonight.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 I didn't envision a 9-0 shallacking tonight.. damn
Precious Roy Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Joe Randa with a grand salami, Mets are getting spanked 9-3 in the 8th
Brett Favre Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Randa with that sick smile on his face as he rounds the bases.
Bored Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Good...fucking...god...ESPN hired Larry Bowa as an analyst. "A's needed that win." Yes because no one can recover from an 0-2 start. *bangs head against wall*
DMann2003 Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Randa's endeared himself to Cincy just 2 games in
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 7, 2005 Author Report Posted April 7, 2005 Good...fucking...god...ESPN hired Larry Bowa as an analyst. "A's needed that win." Yes because no one can recover from an 0-2 start. *bangs head against wall* Well, they did miss the playoffs by one game last year, so who knows? I find Larry Bowa not as offensive as most other BBTN analysts.
DMann2003 Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 I never like it when Cincy gets a big lead, they play too loose.
mike546 Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Glavine looked awful tonight. And my god, everytime I switch to the Met game, I see two Met runners on base. they've scored only three? wow.
DMann2003 Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Hey, Reds starting the season 2-0, I can be happy for a few days
