Geez, I was being sarcastic based on the fact that the last Yankee with any kind of equity that should be sheilded from any sort of booing reaction (Rivera, Jeter, Bernie, Posada, Tino, O'Neill, ect) was apparantly getting "showered by boos" according to Michael Kay On the flip side, I would be worried that we are seeing the start of Mariano's slide into being a stead, effective specialist rather than the most dominant closer to ever play the game. I can't see calling an end to the Yankee dynasty, considering it was against the toughest offensive team in the league, a team that seems to have figured out Mariano Rivera. It's the only team he can't go against, so why bother even thinking about it? Also... the crowd DID boo Rivera pretty loud from the sound of TV, but it wasn't all "boo" since it had a good amount of cheering as well. Still... don't use Rivera! (kicks myself for having him in my fantasy leagues)

Rivera has lost some jump on his fastball and it's hurting him cause that was one of his great strengths. And when that fastball starts to slow down, he becomes very hittable. But over? No chance in hell.

Not picking up a ball once due to pitching so much last year. I don't think its a coincidence it was against the Sox, but I think he just needs to get some more work, and he'll be fine. EDIT: Marianos really ownly blown 2, maybe three of those saves. Today would have not happened if A-Rods not a dumbass, and his game 5 BS is a pathetic stat, considering he came on with 1st and 3rd no outs after throwing like a billion pitches the night before, and goes on to get SIX straight outs.
