NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2005 Rather then explain it and get into it just yet, I will wait to see what kind of responses I get. I was tempted to put this in the sports forum, but the ridicule and saracastic responses to follow would surely outdo anything this forum could produce......LOL. LessonInMachismo 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2005 I played it several times at Christian summer camp. It was really cool because the camp was in the forest and the goals were like on trees, on the sides of boulders, etc.
sfaJack 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2005 There was a course set up by the city in a park across the street from campus when I was in college. It was fun, particularly when everyone was a little intoxicated. Haven't played in at least 4 years, but I probably would again if I had the chance.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted April 11, 2005 I experimented with it on a head full of mushrooms while in college. I didn't have anywhere else to go, and it was nice out.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted April 11, 2005 I don't see how one could play it sober, really.
Crimson Platypus 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2005 I play about 3-4 times a month in the Winter and 5-7 days a week in the Spring/Summer/Fall. I also play in multiple money tournaments with my best finish being 3rd in am-3 level play with the two people that finished above me being accused (by others in the tourney) of sandbagging. nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2005 I played a bit my first year of college, but mainly because it was a course right on campus that was free and a good excuse to walk around and get stoned and enjoy the nice Colorado weather. Then a girl got her nose broken by an errant throw and they tore down the 'holes' and moved the course to an off campus site. I wasn't enough of a fan to actually travel there just to play, so I stopped playing.
Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2005 I used to play it all the time in the backyard. We would just set up random things in the yard and toss the frisbee around at them. I always beat my family at it.
A Happy Medium 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2005 I used to play every week or so at a course in the next town. If I could just get my driving down, I could kick ass. My favorite is when I made what would be considered this pitch that rolled right into the stem of the basket. It's a fun game.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2005 Sounds like some sort of hippie shit, so no surprise that NoCalMike plays it.
Ted the Poster 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2005 I can't believe there's a game combined of the most boring sport and the most loosely defined "sport". Jacks is more of a sport than frisbee.
