At least we used logic to come up with our sport of choice... and didn't just rip off another country, slap shoulder pads on ourselves, and then steal another countries sport name for it, and make it illogical.

 

It's called Football guys, NOT Soccer, Football because there's a foot, there's a ball, you kick it around. Foot meets ball, "Football".

Plus we have the greatest national anthem in the world... think about it, here's a national anthem that proves God is British. Whenever someone sings the British National Anthem, God looks down, checks if the Queen's okay, and if she's not, he helps her out. How else do ya think she lasted this long?

 

The American anthem... "Oh say can you see, by the dawns early light..." it's about a FLAG guys, you have an entire anthem telling us how nice your flag will look in the morning. Who's bright idea was that one?

I actually enjoy Aussie Rules, on the rare occassion it's on Sky Sports.

 

It's American Football I can't stand. It's like a cross between rugby (basic premise), cricket (padded up like the Michelen tyre man, way too stop/start) and then put on some sort of happy drug (cheerleaders, all the trademark Amarican razzle-dazzle).
