Expect Monty Brown & The Outlaw vs. BG Jammes & Diamond Dallas Page to be added to Hard Justice PPV. Brown was backstage at the TNA tapings yesterday but was not utilized.

 

Kevin Nash has booked a role in a new feature film starring Eric Roberts that will shoot in China for the next two months, so he likely won't be involved in TNA in the near future. According to one source, the producers of "The Longest Yard" suggested Nash for the role and pushed hard for him, to the point they provided cutting room floor footage that didn't make "Yard's" final edit to show his work.

 

Dusty Rhodes is still in charge of creative, although his backstage demeanor the last weekend was described as someone who was doing what was asked of him as opposed to someone who is driving the car, so to speak.

Bob Ryder is still working for the company doing travel arrangements and comes into events to handle any last minute problems, but many of his duties regarding contracts are being handled by Jerry Jarrett at this point. Ryder was telling several wrestlers this past weekend that he intends to work more on handling third party bookings for TNA performers.

 

TNA has announced they are having a "grand re-opening" of their TNAShop.com website, advertising that all orders will ship within three days. One of the main problems with ordering TNA merchandise in the past has been waiting 4-6 weeks to receive merchandise, which is why once TNA DVDs started showing up in other online outlets, many fans would order them from there.

 

Elix Skipper will be working for ProWrestlingUnplugged on 5/20 in Philadelphia, PA teaming with Jay Lethal & Azrieal & Insane Dragon vs. Jack Evans & Deranged & Dixie & Ashe Samuels ina "Crazy 8" match featuring ropes above the ring that can be used during the match to climb and swing from.

 

Hacksaw Duggan was at the Impact! taping as he was in town for an appearance on the Russ Rollins radio show to promote a celebrity golf tournament he is organizing for charity.

 

Several NWA representatives including President Richard Arpin were backstage at the Lockdown PPV.

 

I'm not suprised by the tag match, though I kinda wish they could find another heel to make it a six man, so that the Truth could be included. But I'm sure he'll be in the battle royale, so it's not like he won't be on the PPV. It's great that they are trying to turn around orders faster now, because it did take FOREVER for DVDs to arrive. And they're just in time too, because I'm ordering Against All Odds as soon as it's available. I must see that Iron Man match.

You know, that tag match sounds like the perfect way to set in motion Brown's return to facedom. Have the NAO reform when James finally turns (why he wouldn't do it on 3LK is beyond me, but hey, that's a problem for the bookers), but Monty is puzzled, not knowing about it. Backstage, JJ can congratulate the two on their reunion, and Brown will get further incensed finding out that JJ had known about it but kept him in the dark. Brown wins the Gauntlet, JJ tries to blow it off, and Monty snaps and leaves the stable, goes back to being a face.

I'm guessing they feel the slow burn is better, although taking things TOO slow (as in, how many more weeks is James gonna "accidentally" hit a partner, or get caught talking to Gunn) can reverse the desired effect.

 

SK made a very good point once that if they just crammed the 3LK, Outsiders and ex-DX guys into one super stable of babyfaces, they'd have a merchandising bonanza on their hands.
