WM isn't a given. They did 565,000 buys two years ago for a triple main of Angle vs Lesnar, a supposed dream match,Rock vs Austin 3, and another supposed dream match, Hogan vs McMahon.

 

940,000 as the early estimate is not a given, in fact it is already the second biggest number ever already.

 

So basically, 940,000 is nuclear and is the given and a lot more at the same time.

OK. It's obvious that alot of fans know the story behind Edge/Lita and Matt. However, I don't think that will necessarily work has a storyline idea, especially if Matt Hardy isn't brought back. Lita turns on Kane, and joins with Edge? Why exactly? Because their dating in real life. Big deal.

I have a feeling they will do the exact same thing that happened in real life here just subbing kane for Matt Hardy.

 

I mean they should make it identical. Have Kane call lita's phone and get no answer, then 2 minutes later Kane walks into the dressing room and sees Edge on a cell phone as well as Edge quiets down a little. Kane shrugs it off. and walks out to the back where he sees Lita in the hallway sitting on stairway on a phone and sees kane and quickly puts the phone away.

 

and then obviously we know where it all ends up.

So the No. 1 contender tourney on RAW looks like it's just something to set up the Kane-Edge-Lita thing. I'm assuming Kane and Edge meet in the finals, Lita does the turn and helps Edge in, which leads to a Kane-Edge match with Edge's second No. 1 contender shot on the line?

 

And I haven't watched/paid attention to WWE in a while; what is the real-life Edge-Lita-Matt story?

Yeah, he's gotten pretty hefty again lately. I dunno if it's the 3PW mess with Jasmin or whatever, but he's not the same as he was 4 years ago.

 

Considering the past problems Sytch has had in the wrestler business, maybe she's better off staying away from the business altogether.

 

I hope not. If Candido could come back after all the shit he went through, Tammy can, too. Besides, look at the guys these days that she used to run with...HBK is Jesus's boy, HHH probably would see signing her as a charity case/throwing her a biscuit these days, Hall and Nash have their own issues to deal with...no one's gonna bother a widow trying to fight off her demons. I say she needs to come back, just so the fans can (hopefully) show her she's still appreciated in the business after how she's revolutionized how women are looked at in wrestling.

I don't like how they move people to the opposite division just for some current scenario. The person just gets lost in the shuffle. If they do move Angle I hope there is a bigger plan than just some silly Masterlock challenge thing although I think this has no bearing, but we'll see. Kurt Angle and HHH both jockeying for the top heel spot? They might as well throw UT on RAW too, so he can bitch HBK backstage and we can get some 90's wcw soap opera backstage I guess Edge is screwed of any title reign(not that he deserves it, but they seem to really force this guy on the audience). I'd laugh if the audience doesn't give Lita/Edge any reaction because of being put on screen together. That is a way to screw up their push. However, I don't think that many people really know the real story and they do need Matt Hardy. It will just look like any other storyline such as Trish turning on Jericho at WM XX. The general fans know Matt was Lita's girlfriend even in storylines.

How come no one's mentioned that this news came from "pwbts.com"? I've never even heard of that site. I'd say there's about an 90% chance that this was made up.

To be honest some of that stuff seems like the kind of hearsay that Scherer and CO. would report. Not like it didn't seem plausible. If it said "They'll trade Mark Jindrak to Raw and have him win the title" then I'd be suspicious (I read something similar to this last year).

I think I came up with that yesterday (or right after RAW), but I doubt WWE would do something that made sense, because that's the only logical explanation of wanting 2 guarente title shots (especially when 1 can be used whenever they want).

I actually think that idea is great, but the question remains...what happens after Edge wins the belt? You pass it back to Batista to job to HHH at the ppv? Makes Batista look really stupid and then weak. Another hilarious secnario can have Edge lose BOTH title shots by being sent to smackdown on draft night after the whole RAW roster helps Batista kick his ass to prevent him taking the title to smackdown.

I think Edge might be the letterbox between Batista and Triple H. For some reason, I don't see Triple H beating Batista for the belt. I think it'll turn out like it did last year, when the World belt went from Benoit to Orton to Triple H, except it'll be intended this time.

Speaking of a possible switch from Batista-Edge-Triple H, when would the first switch happen? If the rumor of Batista/Trips III being at Vengeance is to happen, that means there will either be zero or two title changes inside of 7 weeks.

I guess they could have Edge insert himself into the HIAC match via his MITB contract, surprise people by having him beat Triple H for the belt (so that Batista's first big singles loss is handed to him by Triple H), and have Batista get the belt back some time after, possibly at Summerslam, before finally dropping it back to Triple H.
