Hoff Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 So yeah, "LaLa" is downright awful and now that Patty's on hiatus I'm talkin' behind his back. And as much as I want my nigga to come back, his awful song has GOT to go. I don't care if it's rock, pop, hip-hop, even J-Pop. But, we need to think of something better. This thread is for the suggesting. Or for saying you *like* this abortion of a theme.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 "Fire and Rain" by James Taylor Hoff, turn on AIM
Hoff Posted May 9, 2005 Author Report Posted May 9, 2005 I'm liking this Rage idea. What else we got?
CanadianChick Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 "We've Had Enough" by Alkaline Trio? Although the Rage idea is a good one.
King Cucaracha Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 If we're going with Rage Against The Machine, Calm Like A Bomb would be my choice. If not, AC/DC "Back In Black", just because it's awesome.
Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 Testify, Bullet in the head, Sleep now in the fire would all kick ass calm like a bomb is quality as well
{''({o..o})''} Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 Death From Above 1979 ~ "Blood On Our Hands"
King Cucaracha Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 If we wanted an appropriate song, Jennifer Lopez feat Fat Joe, "Hold You Down" would be a choice. Then again, I suspect Hoff is looking for a good song, so whatever.
Zack Malibu Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 Puff Daddy and Mase "Can't Nobody Hold Me Down" would also be appropriate. An honest request from me would be Orgy's "Stitches". God I love that song.
Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 RATM or DFA is looking better and better...
Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 oooh... Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck. by Prong (I think) The one good thing about Justin Incredible
Zack Malibu Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 RATM or DFA is looking better and better... Not as good as Kelly Clarkson.
Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 shouldn't you be answering a pm I sent you days ago, Zack?
Zack Malibu Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 I so did reply. I mean, I just did it NOW, but I did it! So there.
Adam Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 In total agreeance with CWM's taste of music at the moment. Sevendust or Disturbed are other options, maybe a new NIN song...
{''({o..o})''} Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 Actually make that Richard Cheese ~ guerilla radio.
Chuck Woolery Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 (edited) Seriously, what the fuck is with this trying-to-be-hardcore shit? We're a parody fed man. I give my vote to LaLa, although if we must change it I'm jumping on the Kelly Clarkson bandwagon. Edited May 9, 2005 by Chuck Woolery
Guest Failed Mascot Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 Seems to me that its no longer really a parody fed though. There's more serious stuff then comedy. The last major comedy angle I remember was WarGheymes and before that was the Poplex stuff which was just deleted (just a situation handled badly overall).
Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 If we go the complete opposite of hardcore it should be something classic by Beethovan or Chopin.

Jiving JR is parody. PRL is parody.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 hey, I just noticed there are advertisements all over this board now. What's up with that?
Guest Failed Mascot Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 PRL is parody. that's certainly not the adjective I would use with PRL.
Adam Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 There will be more parody, but I just want something that I enjoy hearing as the theme.
