Guest WrestleLore Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 Credit: WrestlingObserver.com Goldberg was in Seattle promoting his role in "The Longest Yard" movie and said a friend called him about possibly wrestling overseas, Goldberg replied "there is no question I'll be back in the ring at some point, but it won't be for those morons up North (WWE)." He also talked about Kevin Nash, Bob Sapp, and Tito Ortiz as potential opponents as said at some point he wanted to write a book about his run in WWE. He continued to put over Kevin Nash's work in the film.
slimm44 Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 He has already written a book prior to his WWE career. I dont see why he would call them morons seeing as they pushed him as much as they could and tied up loose ends i.e matches with The Rock, Jericho, Lesnar, Triple H. Gave him a solid run with the belt. May not have been the best run but what is when you're on RAW and your name doesn't have an H? So what's it going to be a 12 chapter book depicting what happened each month?

Being forced to be counted amongst equal wrestlers is just so.....beneath Billy boy.
BUTT Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 Well, it could be very interesting to learn exactly what goes on behind the scenes there.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 I wonder what he'll say about having to wrestle Jericho and Lesnar.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 He continued to put over Kevin Nash's work in the film. Work = 30 second cameo..even Nash couldn't screw that up.
haws bah gawd Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 He'll say "The punk Jericho doesnt have what it takes to compete at my level, and was trying to make me look bad. I had to carry our entire match." He would probably give props to Brock for leaving at the same time he did. Way to stick it to the "morons up North!"
RavishingRickRudo Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 The WWE *was* the company that put a wig on Goldberg.
Guest DVD Spree Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 He also talked about Kevin Nash, Bob Sapp, and Tito Ortiz as potential opponents as said at some point he wanted to write a book about his run in WWE. Youth N Asia Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 He already wrote a book that went to the discount shelves in no time. The only difference now is he isn't near as popular,
bobobrazil1984 Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 actually Goldberg is 100 percent right. WWE are morons, their shows have been crap for ages. of course, goldberg himself is also a moron, which he neglected to mention.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 WWE is a group of morons. Goldberg is absolutely correct. The fact that the monkeys that were WCW new how to market the guy correctly, draw higher ratings at times than the WWF, and make him a mega-star with the fans shows this. WWE on the other hand, put Goldberg in a role that ANY man could have played, that of "Fighting the odds against Evolution." Same as Booker T...same as Nash...same as Benoit...same as Michaels...same as RVD & Kane... It was lame. They booked him horribly against uninteresting stiffs like Mark Henry, Matt Hardy, and Rodney Mack, and then made him Triple H's bitch at SummerSlam. Having to work Triple H month after month on PPV decreased interest in him, just as it has/will Batista this year. Stay away from "The E", Bill, they fucking suck.
SuperJerk Posted May 26, 2005 Report Posted May 26, 2005 Goldberg replied "there is no question I'll be back in the ring at some point, but it won't be for those morons up North (WWE)." I just can't buy that quote as legit.
