Special K Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 Sorry, you break the law you lose your rights as a citizen. That's fuckin' STUPID.
Guest Smues Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 The videos are just LOADED with examples of her being a complete fucking moron, but I think my favorite is "Why did you pull me over?" "You were doing 51 in a 35" "But you were driving!"
Guest nWoCHRISnWo Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 She was a)speeding while using a b)suspended license and c)not listening to the cops. What else were the cops supposed to do? Trying to force her out of the car could have injured her or them. After telling the bitch like 5 times do get out of the car, then warning her he would taze her... There is no argument for her side here, except maybe for the second taze.
Vampiro69 Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 I believe that the she got exactly what she deserved. You ignore a direct request from an officer after you already are going to be in deep shit, you get whats coming to you.
Darthtiki Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 Laugh if you want. Have you ever been tasered? For that matter, have you ever been shocked by a wall socket? I have, and the voltage for a wall socket is only 110 volts for standard American sockets. In Europe, it's 220. So, that woman got hit, twice, with something that was almost 500 times more powerful than a wall socket. Cops as a whole are getting far more stupid and more aggressive when it comes to dealing with people. They think that just because it's "Less than Lethal" force, that makes it okay to hit her with it, twice. If you hit a person with a pacemaker with a taser, guess what? You just killed him, you dumbass cop. The only time that cop should have hit her with a taser shot would have been if she was resisting with "less than lethal" force, such as a knife, or a blunt object. I hope that cop gets his ass sued off. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Voltage doesn't kill you, amps do. Simple fact. Secondly, if a perp has a pacemaker, how's the cop supposed to know are they precogs? The bitch was asked several times to step out of the vehicle, she had several violations and driving on a suspended license. Frankly, I think the taxpayers of that town got their money's worth.
Guest Vitamin X Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 Secondly, if a perp has a pacemaker, how's the cop supposed to know are they precogs? Now I know to scream "I HAVE A PACEMAKER AND YOU'LL KILL ME!" if a cop ever busts a taser out on me

Guest Vitamin X Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 Then again, once they'd look at my license..
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 I think that whole scenario was a little ridiculous. The woman was annoying but the officer was driving an unmarked car, that's why she was suspicious. I never saw her swing at them and I think the tasering was a bit excessive. She was wrong and deserved to go to jail, but she didn't deserve to be tasered like that.

Lord of The Curry Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 Unmarked car or not, at least one of the officers was a uni so there's no reason for her not to believe them. Oh, and she deserved it and I laughed.
tominator89 Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 I thought it was a bit much, up until the point where she WOULD NOT STOP WHINING. She needed a muzzle.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 Secondly, if a perp has a pacemaker, how's the cop supposed to know are they precogs? Now I know to scream "I HAVE A PACEMAKER AND YOU'LL KILL ME!" if a cop ever busts a taser out on me <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fuck that, then they'll just use the mace. I know which one I'd rather get hit with.
Ripper Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 I also can't see how anyone could justify the second hit she got. She was laying on the groud and both guys were just looking at her. It looked like a child with a new toy.
Sideburnious Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 The only reason people got worked up about this is because she's a woman. If a man was in the exact same position and got tasered noone would give a shit. She deserved to get shocked. What was the police officer supposed to do? Let her finish her call? He had to show her who had authority or I doubt she would have even left the car.
Ripper Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 What ever, if it was a dude, I would say it was fucked up. And still, someone try and justify the second tasing when she was on the ground.
Guest Brian Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 He had to show her who had authority or I doubt she would have even left the car. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I just felt like quoting this, if anyway ever wants to beat up their significant other.
The Metal Maniac Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 I just felt like quoting this, if anyway ever wants to beat up their significant other. I think there's a slight difference between one's husband/wife and a police officer, no?

Sideburnious Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 Yeah I was going to ask a similar question, if it was a white woman/man would people be as pissed off.
The Niggardly King Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 I would care less if the person was green. It wasn't the right thing to do, but I still laughed. End of story.

Sideburnious Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 What if they did happen to white people?
Guest Brian Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 Than you whiteys need to get a-marchin'!
Guest Fishyswa Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 That was fucked up. I don't understand why cops don't have more physical combat training, I can't see in what way it was safer for both parties to load her up with 50000 volts of 'taze than to simply remove her from the car and restrain her. If she get's violent when you try to physically remove her I can kind of understand, but than how about instead of stronger tazer's, you get stronger cops? It should be a last resort weapon, not a way to excersize authority as you see fit.
Ripper Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 People would be more pissed if it was a white person. Because white people never pose a threat, there is no way that the officer would have believed that he was in danger. Its those black people and their Cingluar Wireless phones that are dangerous. She could have taken a picture with her phone of him, and we know how unflatering camera phone pictures are. He couldn't take that chance.
Carnival Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 No matter race, the same shit would have happened. If anything, the cop would be more hesitant to taze a black women for fear of the racial backlash.

Carnival Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 Ya because when white people get beat by cops, the first thing they cry is racism. to put it another way. I think cops to racially profile people, but i don't think race had anything to do with this incident.
